Disregard my hours, I played this (and most other soulsborne games) ALOT on consoles and trust me when I say this is the best the series has to offer, main reason being the bosses (which is the main/ best part about any souls game imo)
Dark souls 1 started really good in boss quality but then dropped hard in the later half.
Dark souls 2 you could probably count the good bosses with your hands, one hand if you exclude the dlc.
Dark souls 3, save 1 or 2 stinkers, only ranges from decent to absolute spectacle.
Pvp (the other main ingredient in souls) also peaked here for me, not to mention that it's still the most lively playerbase. There's a wide variety of weapons/ builds and the vast majority of them are viable and the multiple pvp covenants compared to the one or two of earlier titles really helps keep the scene alive.

If you already own this game on console and don't see the point of getting it again I'd also like to mention the decent modding scene this game has, namely the cinders overhaul mod that was similar to SOTFS for 2, so I'd still recomend this purchase
