5.8 Hours played
Remarkably enjoyable for it's price point but the hands free rodent explosion leaves room for improvement.

The game isn't that long, taking less than an hour to complete the "story". However, the main point of the game is to mess around and have fun with the tools you can collect and small automated set ups you can build. It took me around 3 hours to 100% (story, blueprints, achievements).

My performance wile playing (having played on a laptop) was fine until I started to build larger setups/builds where the game started to stutter. I didn't experience any crashes. I'd only experienced one minor bug which fixed itself on restart.

The graphics are up to par but the animations can be pretty terrible (stuttery). The microwaves hands free rodent explosion lacks the loud pop and microwave shake that you'd want/expect. Disappointing...

The building system is (surprisingly) alright. To create a usable amount of blocks you'll have to make use of the games automation, using almost every tool. At the end of your playthrough you'll be able to build as large as you want, assuming your computers performance will let you. On the negative side, the game is very clunky with orientating stairs stairs, something that frequently frustrated me.

I had a lot of fun with this game, despite some of it's glaring issues. With it's cheap price-point in mind I'd say that it's worth buying and playing for the giggles alone.

Additional Negatives

- Money and Information (Experience) aren't easily visible. You have to use the computer.
- The Hydraulic press and Saw Blade table suck (animations wise).
- Night time becomes an annoying gimmick after a few nights.
- The shotgun is exclusive to the alter.
- The alter that replaces night time is boring/rushed and has no real benefits.
- The gladiator pit is a big let down and entirely based off of chance.

Suggestions

- Make money and information to the next level always visible.
- Give purchasable upgrades to the hamster cart.
- Add achievements that reward creating money farms, information farms and block farms.
- Reward the player for completing alter levels.
- Give the build tool a quick remove with the same range as building.
- Add decorative furniture.
- Make the microwave shake.
- Make achievement icons visually distinct from each other.
