I've been having fun so far. Works great on linux, had to do a small tweak to get ray tracing enabled.
(check out protondb for more info)

They slowly introduce the combat features, the more you play the better it feels.

Would recommend if you enjoyed the last of us.

The base game is pretty solid. I'll review it in the context of the co-op mod we used.

Gameplay is stable and synced well between players, and most cooperative mechanics (shared world persistence, loot distribution, and quest progression) function reliably. We did encounter a handful of bugs during our session:

Mobs duplicating: Occasionally an enemy would spawn twice in the same area.
Mobs disappearing: Enemies sometimes vanished mid-combat, which could break the encounter.
Mobs freezing: A few mobs would stop moving or reacting.
Incorrect targeting/animation: Some enemies attacked while facing the wrong direction or played improper attack animations, which proved to be deadly.

Score: A-

Overall Score C+ (I've played the console version more)

This is not a game you buy with the intention of playing with others.

Its pretty silly that you need to mod the game just to have a half decent multiplayer experience with ultrawide support.

Offers you that classic dark souls experience at a faster pace.

Really well done level design and variety to explore. The Royal Capital is probably my favourite zone.

Nightreign is better thanks to its party system. Just like with the other souls games, I find them boring without friends.

Could be better. Overall score: C

Missing 21:9 support in 2025 is silly.

The UI is not easy to understand at a glance. I understand this game is intended for veteran players, but this game expects you to assimilate a lot of information with zero explanation or visual hints.

Not enough contrast for the text to easily track teammates.

More enjoyable than elden ring by a far margin, thanks to the greatly improved party system.

Fun selection of characters to try.

They finally have a duo mode.

Runs great.

Would be cool to see a dotted line for the fastest route to your cohorts when you find yourselves separated, since 90% of the session is spent running around the map. (plus no one is communicating where they are going in my experience, you just need to notice they jumped down to the forge.)

Its stereotypical hack n slash game.

The story is kinda fun and the characters are funny.

But, the gameplay is kinda clunky and the game feels and looks like it was for the PS2.

I might come back to it one day. Would recommend at 10$.

In a land where the bards sing with glee,

And foes like the cunning Dror Ragzlin flee,

In Baldur's Gate 3,

Adventure's the key,

So gather your friends—buy it, you'll see!

I predict this gets game of year 2025.

Fantastic short co-op game. Great puzzles. I did the sci-fi girl.

I think she got the cooler abilities.

Feels like you're playing an arcade version of portal.

This DLC was pretty boring I couldn't get myself to finish it.
I really enjoyed the main game however and would recommend that.

It's fun and cute. The map changes every hour. You are in a 3 v 1 configuration, if it cannot fill the slot it will use the CPU. Which isn't bad at the game. You can play as either the monster or the kids. You unlock characters and other cosmetics through the in game currency and as you collect stamps (milestones and achievements). It's a pretty simple cops and robbers style game. The monsters have different abilities or stats and so do the lanterns that you use to stun the monster with.

The capture scenes are repetitive, but they can leak information about the status of the jail.
