This is a very short, but emotionally heavy game. Considering it's free, it's absolutely worth your time!

A very, very short game. You choose how much you want to read into it. Meaningless movie or marvelous masterpiece? It all depends on your interpretation.

A fun little game! Absolutely worth a download and playthrough. There are a couple of tricky/annoying levels, but you can't beat the price of free!

This is a wonderful little Steam Deck demo. It's visually stunning, with that Portal style we've all come to love! It's quirky and humorous, and does a pretty good job getting you used to the Steam Deck's controls. It also highlights certain features like the microphone and gyroscope, but does so without feeling overwhelming.

Even if you aren't a fan of games like Portal and Half-Life, it's still absolutely worth the 30-or-so minutes it takes to complete this little game.

Ah, reviewing Goat Simulator is difficult. The game looks nonsensical and silly on the outside. And perhaps to most, that's all it needs to be.
I first played this back in 2014, after being gifted a copy by a friend. And I LOVED it! I spent dozens of hours just running around and having a blast. Naturally, when I got a PS4 one year later, this was one of the first games I got with it. And getting the platinum was a blast. (Other than the dreaded Flappy Goat trophy...)

Now, a decade later, my opinion has changed. Soured. The game is much buggier than I remember. Not in a funny, harmless way. I've lost hours of progress from issues like glitching through the floor, items disappearing, and the game simply crashing. The first time you fall through the floor, it gets a little chuckle. The sixth time you have to run through the Test Chambers again because your cow keeps despawning? Frustrating.

Time hasn't been kind to this game. Either that, or my rose-colored glasses filter out all the hours I must've wasted way back when.

As of 2026, I do think it's still worth playing. But with a caveat: only if you don't intend on getting all the achievements.
The first few hours, I genuinely had fun. The last 20? Dreadful. The DLCs are charming, each in their unique way. But they're all equally buggy and generally infuriating.
