The fun Puyo Popping and Line Clearing game… but 2! It’s surprisingly lightweight compared to PuyoTet1 and Champions, and still very fun; but remember to keep Auto Difficulty off! That thing is… something else.

Joke at the start of the review aside... well. I like the game I just have a good chunk of frustration with the game as is as well.

Going to state this now: I like the game. A good chunk of the stages are well designed, and so are most of the boss fights. I like going out of my way to find the hidden secrets, and the collectables as such are quite fun to find and collect. However, this review is going to mostly talk of the negatives I have experienced.
The ones I want to note in particular:
- Sometimes, things feel very hard to dodge and overall feel somewhat unfair (Looking at you, Scorchy).
- I find the delay between a missed Frogun shot and being able to shoot again is a bit too long, which is especially notable when in the air: Multiple spots in the game require you to shoot multiple times mid-air, esp. in Worlds 4 and 5, so for the delay between them to be as long as it is sometimes makes it feel as if you are more or less cheated out of a potential recovery from a mistake.
- I feel the Frogun shot length is just... off in some way. Really not sure what it is.
- Some of the death planes are too high up. I know a lot of these planes are for things where you can't really recover anyways, but it doesn't feel good to be right on the cusp of a platform, miss, and then immediately begin the falling death animation when you have barely even missed the platform.

One thing I'd suggest for this game, outside of some fixes to my personal gripes, would be a zoom option for the Camera. Being able to zoom the camera in and out closer into and further from Renata would help with visibility a whole lot. May also be worthwhile to have a dither effect to show where Renata is if she is behind a wall?

Overall, nice game, but currently in need of a little more polish.

The funny zombo game where you can turn every opponent into a catgirl, and turn buff zombies into Shrek with "It Has To Be This Way" from Metal Gear Rising playing in the background. Yes.

It's fun. I'm not so sure if its for me, but it is still undeniably enjoyable. If you liked stuff like Cuphead and Gunstar Heroes, give this a try!

Y'all keep sleeping on this one when its a really damn good game, lots of fun to speedrun and has a lot of hidden secrets through it. Also Pine is a really fun boss
