Is this game similar to the classic 2D Sonic games? Happened to see it recommended on the front page, so I am a bit curious.

Freedom Planet 2 seems to do everything better but it's just not clicking with me for some reason. Could it be the arcade simplicity of the first game perhaps?

The badge says to beat a stage with half the par time. Do you know which one I should choose? I'm open to suggestions.
