Gameplay: Platformer
Gameplay Rating: Pretty Good
Story Rating: Decent
Soundtrack Rating: Pretty Good
Achievement Difficulty: 2
Additional Thoughts:

Overall a pretty good retro feeling platformer that invokes SEGA Genesis vibes.

my only gripe about this game is how easily it is to get attached to the roof when trying to move about stages. but its still pretty neat that you can attach to the roof and move about the stage that way.

Town of Salem 2
-Not Recommended-
Gameplay: Social Deduction / Werewolf (mafia)
Gameplay Rating: this depends on a few factors
Achievement Difficulty: 4
Additional Thoughts:

even before the newest update 1.4.0 i feel like i couldn't recommend this game anymore.

between declining player numbers meaning alot of gametypes are now abandoned, alot of questionable other choices like adding a battle pass, poor community management, and increased server issues since BMG left.

this newest update (1.4.0) ruined a bunch of roles that were completely fine before:
-All of the NE roles are now ruined with their new changes
-Spy is useless, more so then it was before and i liked how Spy worked before.
-Poisoner cant poison anymore. (why?)
-didnt re-add medium or survivor.
-town didnt need more buffs (aside from the roles that were nerfed.)

Curse Crackers: For Whom the Belle Toils
-Recommended-
Gameplay: Collector Platformer
Gameplay Rating: Pretty Good
Story Rating: Decent
Soundtrack Rating : Good
Achievement Difficultly: 3
Additional Thoughts:

Currently sitting at "unknown status" for steam deck, Runs at a low wattage, without issues, plays with the controller nicely and without needing to adjust settings.

I found this to be a rather fun Retro/Gameboy styled platformer with a ton to do and collect which makes the levels replayable to search for hidden collectable and collect medals.

my only gripe is the speed medal has a tight time frame to collect per level but that doesnt stop this game from being good.

DJ Max Respect V
-On The Fence / Recommended-
Gameplay: Rhythm
Gameplay Rating: Good
Achievement Difficultly: 4
Additional Thoughts:

(RIP S4 League)

Very good entry into the DJ Max series. Tons of great songs in the base package. Most of the DLC packs are also worth getting, although i recommend waiting for a sale.

I do have some issues with certain things that this game does but even then i would still recommend it.

minor gripes are:
- Results screen is kinda lackluster in design.
> while it gets the important information out of the way with no problems, it feels kinda empty still.

- Themes are limited.
> I have no problem with how they are just it would be nice if the themes applied to more then just music in other menus / screens

- Songs are not tracked unless you clear them.
> Sometimes you just wanna know how many times you tried a chart without passing it.

- Timing speed thing gets in the way.
> Not even optional. you cannot turn it off.
> Distracting during play.

Major Issues:

- You can no longer fail on Normal/Hard charts in freestyle.
> Not even sure why they did this for. Game feels weird when you know you should have failed but dont when your life bar hits zero.
> It's not optional. you cannot turn it back on.

- The "SEASON/BATTLE" Pass system
> contains mostly cosmetic/avatar items. except with season 10 they changed how the Pass system works to also include gameplay content within it.
> its FOMO. meaning theres no way of getting the items you miss if you do not clear the pass. this now includes the song they include with the new passes if you choose not to buy into a season
> basically killed my interest to constantly play the game as i would have.

- Always online required.
> Yes, I get its to prevent cheating and score tampering. But it would be nice not to worry if the game stops getting its servers supported in the future. I would also play this on my steam deck if i didnt need to worry about being connected to the internet.
> I dont play in the online modes.

Final Fantasy XIV (+Expansions)
-Recommended-
Gameplay: MMO/Action RPG
Gameplay Rating: Good
Story Rating: Varies by expansion from: Good - Very Good
Soundtrack: Varies by expansion and personal preference from : Good - Very Good
Achievement Difficulty: All Achievements are in game: 3.
Additional Thoughts:

Got into this game after the Endwalker lock out ended and started within the free trial (120 hours there), bought the full game after reaching most of the way through Heavensward. As a Final Fantasy game, it is very good and despite being a MMO, it acts like a single player RPG.

The start of the game is maybe considered the longest part of the game and where after you reach a certain point everything flows more smoothly, although the story during that part is still good. The story overall is good and contain various beats that range from the normal to the out right silly. (Manderville) Theres a lot of to do in the game aside from the story, from dungeons, raids, trials, PVP, and crafting.

You only need to play as one character as your one character can take as many classes as you want them to take and you can change classes at any point outside of combat.

Tunic
-Recommended-
Gameplay: Action Adventure / Puzzle
Gameplay Rating: Good
Soundtrack Rating : Very Good
Achievement Difficultly: 3
Additional Thoughts:

Played on steam deck at default settings (low motion blur), takes 13w-22w to run the game with 15w being average. there are two areas in the game which drive the power to 20-22w. one area being a rather large area that you have to repeatedly visit later on otherwise power is kept to the lower levels (13-15w). there were no other issues.

Tunic is a good LOZ like game, the way the manual is used for not only telling you the story of the game but also gives you hints is rather clever that leave the player with "AHA" moments when figuring things out. Combat is difficult however not too bad. the only downside to the game is the late game puzzles, however they are optional but required for getting 100%

Destiny 2 (and expansions)
-Not Recommended-
Story Rating: getting removed
Soundtrack: i dont think i heard it at all.
Achievement Difficulty: 2
Additional Thoughts:

A decent PvE game with bad PvP options. however I had stopped playing D2 after they first started to "sunset" (vault/remove) some paid expansions while blaming storage issues as their main concern. I had considered returning to the game once this stuff got re-added to the game but that has not happened yet and they recently announced that they would be vaulting more paid (DLC) content. So its not currently worth my time.

if they keep doing this then whats the point in buying the DLC content if it will after some time get removed from the game?

This is a rather rough draft of this review i may go about and fix it later.

This heist pack contains two very good heists, a rather neat pistol, masks (at this point i havent looked into) and an average set of 4 melee weapons.

Birth of Sky and Beneath the Mountian are two well made heists in which do not require any repairing of drills.

Birth of Sky. Its one of those heists where at the start it can be a speed run if you want. Jumping out of the plane is well done and you are allowed to move while decending.

Beneath the Mountain. Very well designed. Some AI issues but still playable. Theres alot of RNG but the loot always seems the same

Locke himself proves a character. Kind of reminds me of a much ruder Atlas.

The baby Deagel seems like its mislabeled. While it packs a powerful punch. It just doesn't feel like a deagel to me. It has high concealment but it also has low acc and high recoil basically requiring you to give up the concealment to correct those two stats. Although i dunno what you can get away with using the spike kit but thats how i see the base weapon

I have no comment on the masks nor the melee weapons.

The music for the heists work well but the point break menu themes i felt did not work and were too quiet

Dispite bodhi being free and not included in this dlc my review for him will (since this released with him)

Bodhi. Hes a decent heister character who like jacket breaks the groups fashion requirements. His VA is fitting although often quieter than the other heisters.

The new sniper. I love this thing. It works well using the angled sight while using a proper scope. While its not the most powerful sniper i do like it more than my nagant.

The perk deck. One that grants regen and dodge. I feel like it does have it uses in certain builds. Although the regen effect is slower than the other perk decks out there. It does allow the armor amounts to recharge faster and be used with any armor. I feel its decent and could be useful

Payday 2
-ON THE FENCE / Not Recommended-
Gameplay: Horde Shooter / Objective FPS
Gameplay Rating: Good
Soundtrack Rating: Very Good
Achievement Difficulty: 4
Additional Thoughts:

Edit: changed review to reflect my more current review setup.

the "Crossplay" update broke the game in multiple ways, and my final thoughts are still "Play with your friends" if possible.

Since my original edit, weapons still feel like they need rebalance.

I think my only complaint would be theres people who kick you from their lobby without warning and then those who would ruin other people games. i havent really hosted or joined a public lobby mostly for those reasons. then again i would prefer to play these kind of games with my friends.
