A more welcoming extraction shooter, with decent unfolding lore. Movement and shooting mechanics feel good. Third person camera annoys me less than I thought it would. Arc enemies are easily more scary than players, especially when you haven't unlocked the Arc killing weapons, after that they are more of a challenge to finish off before getting third partied. UI back at 'base' could do with some QoL tweaks and updates, like crafting from your load out screen, easily jumping to where you need to get to etc. It all feels a bit confusing to navigate.

Personally I would love for Speranza to be a 'live' lobby, where you can run around and speak to the different merchants, instead of just menu clicking. Could also provide some entertainment whilst waiting for party members to craft their new loadout ... using the UI mentioned above.

This is peak medieval city building.

Bad ending is cooler.

Short for it's price but high quality throughout.

Peaked my interest when seeing a friend play it at a LAN event. Picked it up in the sale, wish I'd got it sooner.

Brilliant hark back to the old school survival horror genre.
Only downsides would be:
Out of place, hip-swaying, waifu protagonist,
Cheesy writing/Voice Acting (Though I suppose that could be an old school survival horror trope)
1 or 2 of the puzzles felt like they weren't properly integrated or thought out.

Overall 8/10
