9.5/10 Game. An Absolute Gem.

The only reason it is 9.5 instead of 10 is due to the fact that, while I love the platform and will sing its praises throughout the rest of its review, the platform is still a work in progress and therefore things can break and change. Also the optimization, while having gotten better, is still continuing to get better. I personally dont see these points as a dealbreaker and I dont believe you, the reader, should let a slightly lower framerate in a populated lobby and the risk that updates may change certain aspects of Protoflux which you may need to debug to be a dealbreaker for you, either.

This is a platform through which, education, socialization, and creation can all flourish while actively participating in world both in VR and in a first person desktop perspective. With a bit of time and dedication to learning, the limit is your imagination and optimization. With reasonable rules and a moderation team dedicated and from the community, you can enjoy finding who you want to be and what you want to do in a safe, and fun way. This is unity, in VR, multiplayer with friends. You can change every aspect of the world around you with the right tool and knowledge. A mentor team dedicated to help you is almost always available to request. Gone is the days of the static, mirrordwelling mindset of other social VR platforms.

Resonite continues to be one of my favorite VR games. While The Name Is new, The player base has many of the same faces as the game I refuse to name here. It is dead. Long Live Resonite.
Leaving the past behind, YDMS continues to provide love for the spirit and everything under the hood. The name may have died but the spirit continues to live on through the work of Frooxius and his team. Thank you for making the platform I choose to call home.

The fallen precursor to this title was wonderful, but this is a platform dedicated to moving forward and growing beyond the restrictions it had before. I, for one, hope you consider this review and give it a shot. Ask for help. Learn. Create. Hope to see you there!

May 2023 Review Addition (3025 Hours On Record):
So I'm adding this as I'm back with a smaller friend base. I'm not changing my lack of recommendation. I believe my review stands for itself. That being said I am happier with the changes they have made recently to add features which mimic a lot of what the mods were doing (personal mirrors, chatbox, physbones, etc). I really only play with the few friends who still play. I really prefer NeosVR over this experience. I would recommend giving that a try despite the smaller playerbase and more rough around the edges experience. Neos can help you learn unity as it is Unity in VR with friends essentially. Compare that to the mirror dwelling drinking simulator that is VRC and its a no brainer.

EAC did nothing for the community as a whole besides add an overbearing competitive game anti-cheat to a VR social platform where more moderation would have had a better and far more important impact on the actual issues (avatars with shader, particle or polygon crashers as an example). Mods rarely were an issue and many mods can still be used anyway. Just heightened the barrier to entry for something that really didn't harm the game all that much given it isn't really much of a game as is. I'm unsure of how much the community recovered after this change in terms of numbers.

Don't Get Me Wrong. I have fond memories playing this game for nearly 3k hours.
Easy Anticheat does not belong on a social game. If your game is only fun when modded people wont stay.

Its sad to leave but Between Neos And Chillout VR (which I have yet to try) I'm sure I will be ok.

Thanks for nothing, VRC Devs. You screwed over a large chunk of the playerbase including people who cant afford higher end systems (EAC uses way more resources tanking VRC Perforrmance), screwing Over The Disabled (who used mods to be able to enjoy a social game comfortably when the Devs gave 0 ♥♥♥♥♥), and your longstanding backers who needed mods for haptic support, face tracking, eye tracking, multiple tracking up until most recent IK update.

And whether I mod or not isn't the issue. if you strawman this whole thing into a "haha funne modder angy" you are seriously missing the point at why over a third of the PC community or more is not online right now.

My original review was written with love in my eyes, starstruck by a platform I loved. It is with a heavy heart I have to downtick the review. With continued internal struggles this game tore the community which loved it apart. The developer who still loves the project continues on in his new venture and title and that will be my home for VR. Thanks for the memories in this game, friends. Please review what YellowDogMan Studios continues to do. The name may be dead but the spirit lives.

11/10 Happy Fun Bouncy Slimes! More Details Below!

So I admit, Im a very biased person when it comes to this game. Ive always loved cutesy games like this. That being said, It really is an amazing game. Initially developed by only two guys, it became an indy masterpiece and stole the hearts of many. From its cute artwork to its surprisingly addicting gameplay, feel free to bounce around and feed your slimes to get a ton of poop. Sell said poop to make munz. Simple, but also complicated
due to puzzle elements. Lots to do and explore. 100% play this game.

8/10 Soccar. More Details Below!

Fly around, flipping and hitting a giant football with a car you deck out with paint, decals, and hats. Its really fun casually, but also enjoyable from a competitive standpoint. I love watching the pro level play and their crazy movement, and it inspires me to keep working at getting better at air movement.

Theres a lot to do, both with the standard mode and its alternatives. Also workshop access and modding makes this game very fun for everyone.

Has lootboxes at the moment which makes it less fun in my opinion due to the predatory nature of such business practices, but you can earn 90% of the good looking cosmetics without buying any keys in this game.

***EDIT*** At the time of writing this review I had just shy of 50 Hours. Since then, I have joined a squadren, Fought aliens, fought players , and overall had a blast. Review still stands as a 10/10 but now with 20 times the hours I wanted to say that this still stands up to the test of time.

10/10 Would Space Truck Again. More Details Below!

Do you like space? Do you like MMO style games? Do you love beautiful graphics? Do you love intense battles? Do you love risk and reward? If you answered yes to any of these, please check this game out.

While I personally dont dive into the combat as I am a new player, I take more pleasure in my space trucking empire anyway, The combat feels very fluid. It is not like a plane combat simulator in feel, besides the view of being in the cockpit of such a vehicle. There is way more to the combat in this game such as managing the temps of your weapon and ship, shields, and full movement. I find it difficult to manage though, so again, Ill stick to my space trucking.

Ultimately, its really fun to play, just try not to get arrested for not requesting to land. The Horizons Update is worth getting. Just buy it, especially if you see it on sale, but even if you don't.

9/10 Solid Game. More Details Below!

I have played all of the different CS games, from 1.6 to now, and I enjoy this one the most competitively. Its both aesthetically pleasing, and feels good to play. While I don't have the mechanical skill (specifically reaction times) to play this game at a high level, I still enjoy a good competitive game every once and a while because its enjoyable to put strategy to the test and plan out how you are going to move and win the game.
Even if you don't look at the competitive side of this game, through out its many updates, there are multiple more casual game modes, such as the addition of a Battle Royale mode, Arms Race (gun game) Scouts Knives, and Wingman (don't bother. way more cheaters there).
And if valve hosted servers aren't your go-to, there are many community managed servers with minigames, duels, and more to keep you entertained. It has kept the spirit of CS alive through community.

I just don't like loot boxes much. Still better than other companies who employ such tactics, but they are inevitably predatory, so I'm against them, even though I buy into them.

I might not have nearly as many hours as some of the vets in this game, but I've seen the gradual transformation and support for this timeless classic FTP game, and let me tell you, it is completely worth it.
If you like a game you can play casually with a really high skill ceiling, then this is the game for you, for sure.

Even if it isn't something you are interested in, give this game a chance. there is something for everyone. Skill based movement, strategy, mechanical aim, or otherwise. Just try it.

I lewd these ladies through my puzzle magic cuz my fiance wont go down on me. 11/10 puzzle magic. -10/10 my fiance wont go down on me.

This is a very addictive and fun game. Worth the money for support back when it was F2P online. Now that it is going to a P2P model, it is simple to expect gameplay to be a lot better due to actual risk of loosing money for a banned account. I feel the move is very benefitial to both the community who loves the game, and the Devs who want to keep this game going strong. Recent issues have plagued the community such as bot spammers, trolls, gamethrowers, and similar people. Coven did not have as much of this issue due to the fact that you had to play that expansion (therefore the previously mentioned benefits for P2P model were already noticable).

Overall, if you want a game that requires you to make quick, thoughtful decisions, be deceptive, and ultimately work towards a common goal with your teammates, it is worth buying this game even more so now than before the P2P switch.

Oh yeah, and 10/10 Vet bait N1 Every game. The ammount of times Ive died in the first night due to a vet alerting while I was Town is kinda funny.
