Early Access Review
I don’t think I would actually recommend this game to anyone. Not in good conscience. And yet, I love it, truly. As of this writing, I’ve only logged 130 hours, which for this particular brand of digital masochism is frankly, modest. That doesn’t include the time spent on the GoG version, back when my friends and I were hopeful that playing the game on a different platform would avoid the updates that seemed designed solely to shatter multiplayer with mods. The truth is, this game needs mods the way my Uncle John needed AA. You can play without them, sure, but why would you? Playing vanilla is like eating unsalted rice cakes for the texture.

And it’s not that it’s bad, per se. It’s just hard. Like emotionally. The game has been stuck in development hell for the better part of a decade, the sort of purgatory Dante would’ve written about had he been more into early access titles. It’s not finished, and not in the charming, “we’ll add a few extra polish patches later” way. It’s more like someone started building a house and got as far as the plumbing before getting distracted by a butterfly and deciding to become a glassblower instead.

What I want, what we all want, is for the developers to slap a “1.0” on it, call it done, and start fresh. Take what you’ve learned. Build something new. Something that doesn’t come with ten years of legacy spaghetti code and a personality disorder.

I admit I’m being dramatic, but only a little. I adore this game, I just want to play it without the creeping dread that an update might have turned my meticulously organized save file into a Jackson Pollock of missing textures and crashed hopes. You should play it. But also, you shouldn’t. Not yet, maybe later. Maybe when it grows up a little.

Eventually, even the hype will plateau. And when it does, maybe then we can finally enjoy the game we were promised all those years ago, without the anxiety of wondering what it’s going to be when it wakes up tomorrow.

I love this game, that's all. It reminds me of going to the arcade as a kid, but now I am allowed to hang out in sketchy pawn shops and gamble too, what else would I want.

Played the prologue, after all that first time I got in the elevator to go to street level from my apartment N54 News was on. First time I’m playing so I’m taking it all in, I stand and listen to the broadcast. The News Anchor starts talking about Atlantic City, explaining how it's on fire, a 10,000 acre dumping ground, and containing Toxic and Biological waste. Having an entire Game Studio basically making it canonical that New Jersey is literally a dumpster fire is worth all the bugs that came with the game on release. 10/10 New Jersey is still a dumpster fire in 2077.

Firstly I’d like to say I really did enjoy this, as much as I could for such a somber setting. I have been following Titanic H&G for quite some time, and I hope this game and the others who experience it help to further both games in the future.

Britannic: This is a very basic game, and that is perfectly fine--I’m not even sure if calling it a game is correct, more so an experience. The great attention to detail on places that are available is just incredible, it truly feels immersive. I also find it very cool, the contract of both versions of the ship can be explored. I do however wish it was a bit easier to switch between the locations you can explore.

I really don’t have much to say on this, other than I am really looking forward to what is to come of Britannic and Titanic H&G.

I can not believe how much I enjoy this game. Seriously I use to see this game all the time on Steam and never even thought about giving it a chance. To me, this seemed like a silly game, nothing more nothing less. Until one day a friend of mine decided to gift me a copy of this game out of the blue. I thought to myself, "it would be awful rude not to play a game a friend gave me a copy of". So I installed it and got to work.

Admittedly, I still though this was a ridiculous game, I was pretty piss poor at it, pretty much wrecked around every corner, flipped trucks, and could have easily when into bankruptcy with the amount app fines I racked up. But I buckled up and switched gears and really took the time to learn the game. I fixed the controls to my liking got them set so I could play the game comfortably without running compact cars off the road, and I eventually purchasey own truck.

It was my truck, I got to personalize it and make it mine, I felt like a true lorry driver now, I even when as far as to only get a drink and hit the bathroom when I made it to a rest stop. This game really does turn into away of life after a sort time.

Anyway long story short, I found myself enjoying this game way more than I ever expected to enjoy a simulator stlye game, definitely with the buy, and the dlc too (I'd hold off if it goes on sale) if you're real looking for a bigger experience.

This game doesn't need a review, if you've played it, watch someone play it, or what ever you probably know already this is a good game, that's it. Stardew Valley envokes a sense of nostalgia for a game type I've never really played before, by that I mean I play this game like I would when I was a kid. It's kind of like when you would play a racing game as a kid but your imagination got the better of you and you pretended friends were in the car and you were driving somewhere with them, that's this game. Stardew Valley is basically limitless in the things you can do, you want to just farm, go for it, just want to fish, go for it, you just want to cave dive and explore go for it. You'll find your imagination flowing when you play you most likely won't run out of things to do or improve for many hours to come.

I do sometimes get overwhelmed with games like this though, so many things to do any learn at one that you kind lose track of what you were doing before. Can you guess what I'm going say next? Not really this game, that lack of tutorials actually makes this game much easier to learn and get the hang of. You kinda have to learn from experience and just figured it out, you learn a little more every time you experiment.

Anyway I could really go on and on, but the simple fact is, if for some crazy reason you're hesitant about buying this game, just do it. I can almost promise you, you will find something joyful, fun, cathartic, or nostalgic about this game and keep coming back to it.

Okay Soooo I like never write reviews, but I feel like I need to express my rage toward this game. I played through once and my heart was wripped out when I lose Emily becAUSE OF F****** BRAAAAAD, so I though, hey this is a video game I can do this again". Fast farward me playing this game about 10 times realizing the same out come keeps happening over and over. I basicly relaized Emily is a c*** and no matter what you do its never enough to please her. So I gave up and now Im filled with regret and self-loathing for the loss of my crush Emily, and F****** Brad and Travis being D**** treating her like a peice of trash.

That being said I’d recommend this for the interesting story and the nostalgia of AIM
