I paid $69.99 USD for this game and am now under $1 USD an hour of entertainment.

While I do have some frustration on occasion with the controls for mouse and keyboard, they are the exception not the rule. I've been having a great time exploring the world, helping out the citizenry, capturing bandits, rescuing my comrades, decorating my house, mining, solving puzzles, and interacting with the game at large.

It is an "open world game" not a souls-like or true to the roots rpg, and I'm having a great time.

I'm having a great time with this as a survival crafting game. I'll easily make it to the $1 an hour mark for entertainment. I'm hoping that we'll be able to get crew in the future similar to Conan Exiles Thralls.

I'm having a great time. There's a lot of things I'd like to see added, but the potential for growth is monumental, and what is already there will pull another couple dozen hours from me at least. At 30 hours in now I'm past the $1 an hour price point and can safely say this has been a great purchase.

Grab it if you like exploration and base building along with crafting stuff.

76 hours of play, experimented with 4 characters now, haven't touched the main quest. I was hoping the game would be more like No Mans Sky but it's closer to Mass Effect. That being said, I'm having a great time. A few sound bugs and minor misc graphic glitches but nothing game ending or progress blocking. I can see myself easily sinking several hundred hours into if not more. If you enjoy Elder Scrolls and Fallout, you should have a great time with this too.

Also, I've only had one crash in 76 hours, very stable.

TLDR: I enjoyed this game so much that I bought a copy for my bride and another copy for my kids. $25 is a steal for this game.

I highly recommend this game to anyone that likes the farm/life sim style games. Roots of Pacha builds on the genre standards and feels authentic without being "just another clone." Its themes of team work and embracing diversity are thoroughly embedded in everything and for a casual play style it all feels so good. The lack of violence makes this a safe game for my younger children who have also fallen in love with the game. Playing mostly casually I finished all the prophecy stories just shy of 40 hours and am still having a great time with the game and discovering new things. I hope they continue to develop this gem and add more content in the future.

This game has all the feels. Grab the demo, take a look at the content warnings to make sure you can handle it. My first play through in particular was rough, and the next two were more manageable but still wow, all the feels. 21 hours in almost a single sitting.

A relatively short game, but I had a lot of fun with this. I can see lots of room for expansions with more stories and I hope that the developer continues to add to them. 9 hours to complete almost everything made for a pleasant experience. The story telling was well done I'm interested in learning more of the setting. I truly hope that continue to grow this franchise.

This is an entertaining casual game with many upgrade features that add just enough to keep me wanting to play for "just a few more minutes" oh and I've almost got another upgrade so maybe "just a few more minutes."

I absolutely love this game. A lot of my " would like to haves" are listed on the road map, I'm especially eager for the 'endless mode.' The scenarios go by quickly but not too quick, music and visuals are nice. Reminds me a bit of "Terraforming Mars" board game. The difficulty ramps rapidly in later turns and will hopefully be tuned down soon. I can see myself putting many, many hours into this game. For an Early Access game, I am super pleased and excited. I'm eager to see more.

This was not the kind of game I thought I was getting, but after I acclimated to what I got myself into I found this game to be fantastic. It reminded me of the old Sierra adventure games with an rpg element and delving into dark and real mental health issues. I felt like a detective, investigating and solving mysteries, it was so immersive and I found myself sucked into the game eager to discover what it had to offer.
