I've had this game since it first came out years ago. I used to be just an interesting soft-physics playground. But so much has happened. So glad I reinstalled again.

Best RALLEY game - bean waiting years to drive between stages ...
Also, fork lifts for stacking cars is a real thing.
There are tons of things to add on - I didn't even get to go through the list of what is available.

New favorite driving game!

This review is to remind myself not to install this again. 30 hours? I don't even remember it. After reinstalling - hated the keyboard/mouse interaction. Uninstalled. Not for me.

Another game made unfun by devolving everything into boss fights. Really a good story except for those plot beats. Is there no other mechanism than to kill a thing three times? C'mon.

But it is gorgeous to walk around in. Like Bliss was - along with that stupid conversation mechanism.

JUST DON'T - just a frustrating walking simulator as a vampire pretending to be something else. Watch the movie.
UPDATE:
Tried to give it a second chance instead of just a rage quit. Got myself to a major city at a costly price - paid my taxes - at another costly price - and now I cannot leave because I don't have enough money to fly out - at a costly price. Can't suicide as it is a safe place so I tried the "RESPAWN" option in the main menu. As I only have target locations (like my house) in the main playable area, it tells me I will lose ALL my possessions to travel to another world. So, start over basically. Good design choices guys. I've had more than enough now.

Update at the insistence of some robot at Steam: Still a garbage menu system. Playlist dialogues are mega gringy still - except for the new Fallali stuff. They take themselves to seriously to be anywhere near gringe.

STILL NO OLDSMOBILE 442 - and the right Camaro would be a 68/69. Nobody gets that right.
Buy it on sale maybe.

TLDR: Overpriced for what it is, get it on sale.

This is a great Southern Gothic tale, inventive and fresh. Combat sucks though. But the graphics, scenes and music create an atmosphere that is superb - although you are just walking a corridor from one place to another.

I can't recommend it for so many reasons, but I can recommend for slightly more. Wait for the sale.

It's 20 years old. And plays better than most modern. Squint at the graphics if you must (you don't) and enjoy a real old school challenge. Too much fun.
