Early Access Review
I have around 300+ hours in Stardew Valley currently and I know one day I'll hit that hour count here. I love the breeding mechanics of getting different colors by breeding for each animal. The way you unlock more in town by updating the town itself is great. 10/10 can't wait to marry the dragon

tl;dr - Main character wants to kill a man. People help. Existential questions are asked and pondered. Good game play. 10/10 JRPG. When is the next Tales of game????

I've always heard good things about the Tales of games so when it went on sale, I bought this game with the thought 'Well, I'm ready for the JRPG tropes and hope this is good."

It does have JRPG tropes, of course, but not too horribly. The story is fantastic and sucked me in from the first scene. I thought it would be a basic 'We must save the world' plot but it truly isn't. I haven't finished the game yet but I can tell its a 'Plot happens and they save the world along the way just because.' The main plot is literally "Protag wants to kill a man. Meets people who want to do other things and lets them tag along/forces them along to further her own goals' Sounds awful but it isn't and it is fantastic.Personal, I like that something so simple and human is driving the main character. Along the way things are questioned such as 'good of the many vs the good of the few' mindset, what makes a person, and what it means to follow your own creed to even your own detriment.

I adore this game and I'm glad it was my first Tales of game. Really glad to hear they're working on the next game even though he probably won't get it until 2020-21. Still, I want it!
