Possibly one of the best games I've played in a long time, Steam Workshop really pushed this game with game overhauls and being able to add in new units, rebalance etc and play a new version of the game. Otherwise the base game is still strong on its own, along with all the expansions.

Thought I'd leave a review here because of how many ♥♥♥♥♥♥ ones there are.

This is a great game from my childhood, I definitely don't think it's worth full price but for £20 when it's on sale, brilliant. In regards to all the bugs, crashes that happen. The only bug I've had was when I got rammed into a wall by a calvary unit so hard I went through it and into a building which was kinda buggy, then nightfall came 3 mins later and I could redeploy.

I haven't gotten a single crash, lag issue at all. I just bought the game, installed it and loaded it up without changing anything and it worked perfectly. The only real annoying issue I've found is if I tab out and back in it'll act as if the game isn't on the screen and if you click you can open files or click through emails etc while still in the game. That's a big buggy and annoying but since you don't use the mouse anyway it's not really an issue.

If you like Hack & Slashes, this is good fun, brings back memories :D

Great game that I have personally loved no matter how the graphics look, definitely would reccomend waiting for Mount and Blade Bannerlord if you are iffy about the graphics! Still perfect.
