I'm actually going to not recommend buying Dragons Dogma 2. I'm not even considering the micro-transactions or game performance, this review is purely based on the content within the game.

Dragons Dogma 2 is short. Like insanely short, the entire game on a blind first run, exploring everything (if you aren't just wasting time fighting things for no reason) is less than 25 hours.

I probably spent more time in Limgrave in Elden Ring than all of Dragons Dogma 2. Every act of The Witcher 3 has more content than all of this game, hell Blood and Wine is longer and has more enemies than all of Dragons Dogma 2!

And this game has no substantial fast travel, horses, or infinite stamina out of combat, it artificially extends the time you're in the game as much as possible, and it's still super short!

This RPG is not worth the full price, if you can't get it for $30 or less you're wasting your money. I have no idea how such a short RPG took 12 years to make.
