Good lord...what a masterpiece. Truly this game is a piece of art, like my god.

Its basically a training ground for horror games. If you've never played one before or think horror games are too much for you, give this a shot. it'll teach you everything you need to know and show you a lot of what you'll experience out there in the wider world. It's also pretty funny and has a nice story itself. The main game is fine, a little simple sure but some times being simple is ok. The Karamari hospital is short but dials up the scary factor A LOT. And the dollhouse is pretty good too although not as scary as I would have liked, ties up the story very well though. Really nice game.

Hell yeah! I loved this! A good continuation and wrap up of the OG Alan Wake. Mr. Scratch is a really fun character and while this game doesn't have the depth of the original, the combat improvements, new weapons, and fun dialogue make up for it. Really really good!

(for real though this game ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ rocks. I have never experienced a story told this way and it was a bold move, but it paid off for sure. Combat is fun, atmosphere is stellar, story and voice acting is as silly and fun as it weird and engaging and thought provoking. Good ♥♥♥♥ man.)

One of the most innovative and unique horror experiences that you can play. I absolutely adore this game it is criminally underrated. It's inventive, it's scary, it ♥♥♥♥♥ with you at every turn, it's amazing. The way everything works, with the way it adds folders and files, the music, the scares, just everything... everything is so creative and fun. They just don't make em like this anymore. I'm excited for Remnants Of A Scare.

A truly beautiful experience from start to finish, you really have to let this game cook if you want it to sink it's teeth into you. It's beautiful, bold, the monster, while not THAT scary is truly interesting. The concepts about identity and playing a part vs caving one out for yourself. It's all so so good. I was so invested in everything this game had to offer. I had no idea if I was even going down the path I wanted, I still don't know if I made the right choice. But I loved the journey regardless. Extremely solid horror experience. Night and Day from the first game. I wanna go again and make different choices.

This game wanted to be PT so so SO bad but it fails to do anything even remotely as scary or memorable as that game and PT was a DEMO. A really bland haunted house jumpscare fest with a story I didn't care for. I laughed more times than I was actually scared it's that bad. It's a shame, because I see the vision, there were some genuinely cool ideas in this, but it just failed to really click with me in any sort of way. This is the kind of game that Spooky's Jump Scare Mansion was made to parody.

I could write an entire essay here and I might later, but for now I just want to say that this is one of the most haunting games I've ever played. It's hard as ♥♥♥♥, depressing as hell, and for a game that came out pre 2016, sure seemed to know which direction things were heading. This game feels more like a warning, a warning that we, much like the characters in the game itself, have ignored. It's not perfect, some of the stages are truly ridiculous and frustrating, bordering on unfair, I encountered a few glitches although none of them were game breaking, and I'm not even sure I agree with everything it has to say, but I sat down and listened anyways and found myself absolutely chilled to the bone by the end. I loved it.

As a raccoon myself I could not be more proud of this being our legacy. This game tickles my brain and makes me happy :)
