Valve is taking their break from Team Fortress 2.
To see a game revered by so many fall into such a neglected state is just sad. A game both beloved and heralded by millions, yet set on a shelf like a trophy to collect dust forever.

I don't blame Valve nor its employees. There's bigger and better projects to work on. However, in its current state, the game is stuck in a depressing limbo. There is still fun to be had, but it feels as if something is missing, because something is missing. To anyone new, I just can't recommend the game- you are bound for disappointment.

I love Team Fortress 2, but it feels like it's stuck in the past. Dusty and yellowed with the passing of time, but one with so many memories contained within, I can't help digging it up and reminiscing just one more time.
