Oh boy, words cannot describe the sheer amount of stress you gain when you play this game. As the name expects, you are only going to expect the 'Darkest' of things, because at all times, everything will always be against you from square one. Even the Radiant difficulty can stand up on its own toe to toe with the Darkest difficulty. This game will spare you no mercy, but honestly, it was what made this game fun. It puts your strategizing skills to the test and a clear mind is vital for even a chance at success. Planning must be paramount in certain dungeon expeditions and you must learn to use your third eye to keep your footing on the battlefield. Anything will do everything in many ways to stop you dead in your tracks, and you must always remain vilgilant. You must constantly change your battle plans and adapt to the speed and situation of the fight, because no one gimmick will work in the long-run. These are actually very good values you can gain at the cost of potentially losing your mind over it. And besides, it's fun trying to tear my hair out! This game can only get harder in later updates, better get used to it if you want to venture into the Darkest Dungeon!
