Wouldn't currently recommend the game. Its a great survival game and a great base and world since Dune is the perfect setting for this type of game. BUT then you get to end game. The deep desert feels like a waste of time and I imagine the playerbase will start dropping with the more people actually getting to the end. They need to just create full PvP servers (minus base raiding) cause this would make most sides of the playerbase happy and I have zero faith that the devs can actually balance the deep desert with the vision they have in mind now for both PvP and PvE cause it just doesnt work and PvE focused players just end up getting griefed constantly and its basically just a gliding simulator with a small amount of resource gathering mixed in... thats not an end game and it gets boring very fast and feels like the game is just wasting your time. Why does the deep desert need to be this large when its 90% empty space? At bare minimum the game should have faction markers on players since thee factions are supposed to matter but suddenly its every man for himself in the deep desert? It just makes no sense in this game. People should have a choice to either fight or also maybe team up with people if they are the same faction... that would make for a way more interesting end game. Instead its just people flying around looking for people to single out and shoot with rockets from their ornithopter while they are trying to gather resources and thats not even PvP... its just griefing. Actual PvP basically doesn't exist in this game right now but they want to try and make it feel like it does so the PvP players will stick around. Funcom needs to start listening or this game will be dead soon. Oh and dont get me started on the duping glitches that they aren't going to ban people for and the other game-breaking patches that conveniently release right before the dev team goes to bed so the game is unplayable for at least 24 hours.

Great game with a great concept. Balancing is a little rough for now but theres amazing potential for the future and its a lot of fun.

Its early access so all of the people complaining apparently haven't played an EA game before lol Yeah some things are rough and need worked on but overall, very impressed with what this game is already and definitely see it going in the right direction. Very excited to see where it goes in the future!
