I didn't grow up playing Clue as a board game. This version is the one I have the most experience playing, and as far as the core gameplay goes, this version is pretty faithful as far as I can tell. I've played both on my primary PC with Keyboard/Mouse (you really only use the mouse unless you're playing in private lobbies) and on Steam Deck using the default configuration, and both experiences were fine enough.

I have experienced some bugs, namely being unable to choose my character in the first lobby I join or make. There have also been occasions where the background portrait doesn't match the room the player went to, though it's only a visual glitch. Moreover, I find myself disappointed that the Steam version doesn't have native Mac support. Unity, which Marmalade Studios built this game in, features native Mac exporting options, so it seems strange that there isn't a Mac version of this game. I know Mac users in the gaming space are niche, but they do exist, and it's not much effort to support them in Unity titles, especially if you're already building for iPhone as this game is.

Overall, this is a good game. A great time with friends, but I would like more of my Mac-user friends to be able to play.
