Play with Restored Land, Immersive HUD, Permadeath mode turned on. Then set your gamma lower, to between 5-10 to make Flashlight batteries matter. Best Horror game on the Market.

I came here from Slay the Princess. Slay the Princess is just a AD to bring attention to some great game Devs. THIS is the real crown.

I'm very sad because going into this I wasn't aware the final two episodes weren't going to be released until at least 2027, maybe 2028. Please don't take that long. I need the conclusions for the 3 save files I already have. Who knows how many saves I'll have if I wait that long.

This and The Classrooms are the two best Backroom games. This one tops it out just a bit. Major walking simulator though, I wish there were more entities that are more aggressive.

The games steam description says it all. My steam hours are irrelevant because I play most of the time on my phone and transfer my save to steam. Hence the achievements. Fantastic game with literally endless content if you're into stat maxing.

I have 10+ hrs outside of steam. I got this game on Itch.io for free, beat it and emailed the Dev team because I wanted to pay the fees for it to be put on steam. They never responded but here we are.

This is a hidden Gem is Very addicting. I got hooked into Speed Running the game. I forgot there was even a centipede chasing me. The atmosphere, sound design, the constant pressure of being followed 100% of the time.

Gold star for including a secret ending Dev. If this game had a daily level to run like "Peak", or even procedural levels I think it'd blow up even more.

Edit: I've 100% the achievements game definitely needs customs levels and more achievements.

Just needs a true Iron sights feature in First Person mode instead of the old school zoom it currently has. Solid game though.

I see its potential and it's made by passionate Devs which is rare now a days. It won't be for everyone but if you want a "turn your brain off shooter", fun solo and with friends.

Edit: Figured I'd add more to my review since we live in such depressing times and the game is now sitting at mixed reviews. The Devs just dropped their first major update and it's great, there's a server menu now. People complaining there's no player base, if that's your main gripe with the game, change your negative review to positive, its not rocket science. You're part of the problem.

I want to reiterate that I know these Devs are passionate about their projects. If anyone needs reassurance that this game will be a hit, just look into the Dev history with "Black Mesa". They remastered the original Half-Life, it remained unfinished for 2 years while they worked on engine updates and remade the Xen world. It took the Devs awhile to release the Xen update but it was so worth it. I know that's going to be the same case here.

I love the Dead Drop system because its optional, you can beat campaigns without relying on it for good gear. I mainly only use it after a fresh wipe just to keep things spicy but for the most part you can just buy the gear, weapons, and attachments you want. It's just a fun little feature clearly inspired by Valve and CS:GO cases. Coming from someone that's dropped MONEY on CS:GO cases. I love the feature, gambler friendly version.

It's mostly a one shot kill to the head for most enemy's. People complaining the campaign is to hard are just bad, I actually don't understand that complaint since I mainly play solo. I've completed a few campaigns fine. I usually just run around with the Glock and Juan Tap enemies. Also Golden Deag OP.

The reason I love this game is because you can play it fast like an arcade shooter or slow and tactical like "Babys first Ready or Not." Get this game more positive attention. I want more updates, updates come from love not hate :'(
