I failed to get into a few CRPGs. After the hype surrounding this game, I decided to give the genre one more shot and I'm happy I did. Feels a lot more accessible than other games in the genre. Good characters, a lot of ways to approach the story, combat, puzzles, etc. You can do some dumb stuff and succeed. You can see some weird ♥♥♥♥. You can throw hamsters. Going on my third complete play-through and I'm still finding new stuff. 9/10 game, no harem ending.
