After playing for a while, my overall impression is that the game’s concept looks great on paper. The reloading system, movement, and blinking mechanic all sound like very interesting concepts. However, when combined in actual gameplay, they don’t quite come together as well as expected. Hardcore players might appreciate this style, but for a more casual player like me, it ends up feeling like just a decent shooting game.

The game opens with a very simple premise: someone killed your cat, and you pick up a gun to get revenge. The enemies appear to be some kind of masked cultists who mostly just run at you with hammers. Some even come at you barehanded. At times, I couldn’t help but wonder whether I was really fighting crazy cult members or just regular people who wear a mask. Inside the buildings you enter, there are guns lying around in some rooms, yet none of the enemies ever pick them up to shoot me back. It doesn’t make much sense to me. Beyond storming into this strange building and shooting everyone, the game doesn’t feel like it has a clear objective.

The three core systems are meant to define the game. Unfortunately, clash with each other when used together. Instead of creating a sense of challenge, they quickly turn into boredom. Deverloper was given three different guns to use, and they even added purchasable scopes for each weapon. However, I personally feel that putting a scope on the gun somehow makes it harder to use rather than easier. I hope the developers consider redesigning the scope in future updates.

On the positive side, the QoL options that allow players to customize the difficulty are fairly well implemented at this stage. From what I’ve seen on the forums, the developer is responsive and actively updating the game based on player feedback.

Would I recommend it? Yes, especially at this price. It’s not a bad game by any means. If you feel it’s not quite worth it in its current state, you could think of it as buying the developer a coffee to support further improvements. The game clearly has potential; it just needs more polish. I hope it continues to improve over time.

I came across a short clip of someone playing this game, and it immediately caught my attention. Bring You Home is a puzzle game that stands out both in its presentation and level design. It truly shows the developers’ creativity and love in every detail.

Many of the ideas and little twists throughout the game can make me smile, or sometimes make me pause and think hard. The puzzles themselves aren’t overly difficult to the point of being frustrating, but they gradually increase in complexity. Even when they become more challenging, the game never feels discouraging. Instead, it keeps me wanting to play, curious to see what the developers have prepared in the next level. That sense of curiosity keeps pulling me deeper into the game.

Killing Floor 3 has been one of the most disappointing pre-orders I’ve made this year. Despite all the changes, nothing feels better. The gunplay, classes, and weapon mods all feel so off that, aside from the Zeds and the title, nothing about this even feels like Killing Floor anymore. It’s just another FPS live service game. After grinding one class to level 30, it became clear that uninstalling it and returning to Killing Floor 2 is the best choice.

However, I look forward to the next update, hoping it will be better.

If you like the annoying werewolf that always howls when they see you and the f**king doll house that has a baby who screams all the way when she follows you. This was the game for you.
