Great concept and really nice execution. The heartbeat and wind whipping by your ears as you pull off a death-defying swing is something special. Evokes that feeling in Mirrors Edge where you miss a jump and go plummeting to your death.

The grappling hook is really fun to use, and the semi-freeform nature of the environment lets you pull off some really stylish and satisfying moves while still having a goal to reach. Honestly I'd love to see an Endless/Challenge mode, because the mechanic was just that enjoyable.

Great concept marred by annoying and repetitive combat. The opening was great - it really did feel like OG Zelda. But it quickly devolves in to walking backwards while clicking your mouse as groups of enemies endlessly sprint at you with extremely fast attack patterns.

There is no nuance to the combat behaviours at all. It's just "if player is closer, attack. if player is far, run to player". Attacking from stealth seems to make zero difference, and just results in enemies instantly turning to you and swinging their weapon.

It's a real shame, because with just a few tweaks it could be very enjoyable, and there's obviously been a lot of thought and effort put in to the rest of the game. If there was just some rhythm to the combat, some spacing or timing to attacks, I would definitely recommend it. But as is, it's mostly just frustrating to play.

A fun, tightly designed Zelda-like in the style of Links Awakening. Simple but entertaining, and the Tower adds a nice element of challenge if you're wanting a bit more.

That said, even knowing beforehand it was going to be a very short game, I was still surprised when the ending rolled after 30 minutes.

It's got that intrinsic charm and confidence that all good adventure games do, where each element builds off the last, making the world seem like it stretches far beyond what you see on the screen. Getting to a new area or meeting a new character makes you want to keep going and see what's just around the bend.

It's fun and silly, but pulls off its serious moments really well, too. If you enjoy classic adventure games like Zelda or Mystical Ninja, you'll be eating good.

Very fun and free-form. You're given a bunch of mechanics to interact with the world and it responds in a satisfying and thematically logical way, evoking those feelings from games like Thief or Deus Ex where you leap to a ledge you're not quite sure you should have been able to, or use an item in a way that seems like it might be cheating - but makes you feel cool as hell. Then wraps it all up in a well-designed world with shortcuts and loop-backs that reinforce progression.

A really fantastic experience. Can't wait for the full game.

Extremely fun solo or in a group. A mountain of good content. No microtransactions. Just a straight up good game that is worth every cent.

One of FROMs best games. Extremely satisfying to play, gorgeous environments, and an unrelenting difficulty that takes advantage of the games entire skill-set. Not for the faint of heart, but a fantastic experience for those willing to learn a new style of gameplay.

A fantastic experience from beginning to end. RE1 was the first game I got with my PS1 back in the day, so the series holds a special place in my heart. This game blew away every expectation I had, and now stands not just as my favourite game in the entire series, but one of the best games I've ever played. An absolute must play for any horror fan.

A fantastic game when it works, but almost always a broken and buggy mess. The developers consistently introduce new and old bugs/issues with every update - cars flying off in to the sky, server desync so bad you die seconds after getting behind cover, jittering guns when you try to aim, being shot through walls that don't render at a certain distance, invisible players, and more.

Patch 12 also introduced a matchmaking and queuing bug that has all but destroyed the OCE playerbase - FPP Solos are so broken that a not single game has been played in almost 2 months. Despite PUBG Corp knowing about this issue - confirmed by the community managers - they've done nothing about it.

This was absolutely one of my favourite games, but I recommend you stay far, far away from it in its current state.

"Disconnected (Unresponsive)"

After being unable to join any server for more than 30-60 seconds. I began troubleshooting, which lasted over an hour - ranging from simply restarting my computer, to changing drivers to all my devices, to switching out my entire router for another one. Nothing worked. I ended up recieving an email from the developers specifically telling me that the issue is so random that there is no solution to it, despite dozens upon dozens of people having this issue since the game's release.

The game looks fun, but be prepared for it to simply just not work for apparently no reason. Wait for an official release to be sure.
