I wish I could give a neutral review on this game. The game is really flawed, but I overall enjoyed it. I heard online that the game was really bad, but it's honestly not.

The overarching story is kind of nice, but I feel like the pacing is completely off, especially at the beginning. Conversations are slow and full of fluff that overall makes them uninteresting. Fortunately it picks up around the midpoint and ends kind of nicely.

Rosa, Sage, and Stella have some extreme 2D personalities. Their entire personality can be described with one sentence and I think that's a problem considering how much screentime they have. I don't think they even should be in the story considering how they are utilised.

The songs are great. Liked them a lot and got emotional at times. The music game is kind of a mixed bag though. It's really cluttered and I feel like the timing for some notes are not times correctly. Still, the music kind of made up for it.

The choice UI is really satisfying to use. I praise the devs who are responsible for it and wouldn't change it for anything else. I might take some inspiration for my own projects.

The "choice matters" part of this game is very lackluster imo. It feels undercooked and I don't think it makes much of a noticeable impact on the story.

The art direction is... odd. Their heads have huge foreheads and their snouts are kind of short, especially Trish's. So many of the faces simply look flat despite the art looking quite 3D. I didn't realise before someone pointed out after the game that the characters are *not* 3D models, but 2D animated. Really surprising that they didn't go for a different style then. There are some lip syncing issues as well in addition to some very stiff scenes. Fang is essentially animated as indifferent in almost all scenes and it's really odd to see.

Overall:
It's a really flawed game and could have been better, but it's overall a nice experience in the end. I still think Snoot Game has a way more impactful and important story, but it feels nice to also have experienced this game too.
