good game

Been a major fan of the BF series and to be frank, wasn't looking forward to this since initial trailer unlike the previous titles, especially not after the mess they called BFV. This addition to the franchise has it's current moments for me which can make it somewhat enjoyable and fun to be on, however for the most part it's just a major crap house released in Alpha instead of a full release.

Pro's:
You can launch jeeps again
Personally for me, no 3D spotting is nice

Cons:
No campaign, I mean, since all other titles had one and some had a coop story, why couldn't this? Sure it's not urgently needed, but it wouldn't have caused any problems making a campaign for us to play through
No classes, everyone can play anyone and whatever class they want? What the hell has happened to BF for them to remove the main reason it was better than COD, don't you dare downgrade a BF game and try make us think it's good
No all chat, really? don't let me call someone a monke for jet ramming me?
No VOIP, not such a big thing for me since if I play with friends, we use discord
No server browser, hopefully it's added eventually along with rental servers
No squad switching, doesn't bother me too much as I play with friends or solo play so I don't care about how well my squad does..
No team switching, bothersome for some people, however personally I don't mind as I play and I will take the dubs or losses as they come, again, playing with friends so we're in a Squad so no need to swap teams
No stats page, would be lovely to see our overall BF stats like every other previous title, but I guess to make the game for casuals this got removed so people couldn't trash talk stats of others
Poor optimisation, if a i9 9700k 2080ti @1080p is running at lower fps than my i7 8700k 1080ti @2k than there's something seriously wrong, constantly around 100fps or below (110 tends to be peak when i'm away from anything) close battles you can be dropping down to around 30-50fps, most people will be sticking at around 60-70fps throughout their gameplay no matter what specs, this game is optimised horrible
Tons of bugs, some which shouldn't have even got through testing, but hey, Dice don't care :D
Gun spread is actually disgusting, it's a joke.
DMR's and Snipers aren't better tbh, you can have your crosshair on the plebs head and shoot, and your bullets will just travel off somewhere random (you can even see them!) this is without moving, it doesn't make a difference
A small number of guns, basically each tree has 3/4 guns? It's got less guns in it than BFV did at release, we shouldn't have to wait till a DLC or Battlepass is added for new weapons, but we will end up having to do just that
Lack of game modes, Conquest and Breakthrough on the base game of 2042 with there being a random fiesta mode i've not tried in portal, along with 1942 Conquest, BFBC2 Rush and BF3 Conquest, even then they don't have all the weapons from the basegames of previous titles for us to use when we play said modes.
Cringe voice lines, like really, what were you thinking when you made these?

Maps are way too empty for their size, like there's probably about 50% of all maps that are just empty space which could have had some cool areas for objectives or just battles to go down, but instead we never enter them because it's just dead open space
Game UI is kinda just meh, could have done without trying to make it look all modern

TL;DR - This game needs a solid 1year extra development for it to even be a full release and not a Alpha game faking being a full AAA title release. Well done, you really ♥♥♥♥♥♥ it this time

its ok i guess

trying it on the free weekend, first round as americans, got tk'd a few times, not exactly good optimised game i get around 80fps on lowest settings @2k.. this isn't fun but i can manage! game feels amazing, guns feel so nice to use, personally preferred the germans to americans, the basic new starter loadout feels much nicer to use and more satisfying killing someone with. great game with great potential

garbage reskin of a garbage game - chivalry v2 "it's not going to be similar to chivalry" i heard and it's the exact same it's a copy of chivalry in everyway and it's terrible. along with it's terrible african hosted servers, great game 10/10 wouldn't buy again. all you're met with, is attack spammers simply due to attacking being faster than blocking, you can hit someone block and be able to send out another attack before they're able to block again, so whats the meta? don't even try to attempt to outplay your enemies with skill, just spam attack and hope yours land before theirs. coming from a game sort of similar with over 2.5k hours on, it's extremely disturbing seeing people who were top players at such a game have lost all means at attempting to outplay and outwitt others and have simply resorted to the spam attacking as well. games garbo, fix the attacks being faster than blocks and your somalian servers

not for this platform, but the game is a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ mazing, played the crap out of this game back on console back in 2010, loved the crap out of it. the radio had bangers, could really get into the gangsta vibe while playing about on this piece of art, the last of the amazing games made here, went to ♥♥♥♥ after this one. the best one as well imho.
