A hidden gem on Humble Monthly, this is a great little puzzler with a solid 25 puzzle boxes/rooms that took 4 hours, starting a little slow, but picking up plenty after the first half hour. None of the puzzles were so unreasonable that I couldn't figure them out with a few minutes of examining, and it wasn't so easy that I didn't want to see it through to the end. Definitely pick it up if you like The Room series of games.

Very different than Kiwami 1 and Yakuza 0, but not strictly worse. Coming from the previous two games, you might be disappointed early on by the compression of Kiryu's 4 fighting styles into 1, seemingly so he has more space for weapons which aren't any less limited than in the previous games. Or that even single object in the universe, weapons included, appears to be made of balsa wood, and shatters if you so much as run into it. But once you get used to the new fighting style and realize it's taken most of the best moves from all his old styles, it'll start to be fun again. The story goes in an interesting new direction, the cabaret minigame is brought back in a more polished form, the new minigame is interesting, and the world looks absolutely gorgeous. I thought it looked good in Yakuza 0 and Kiwami 1 (which looked basically identical), but it should be obvious immediately, and it is impressive

Also there's a little Majima side-mode. If you didn't play Yakuza 0, don't even bother. If you did, just play through the main story, don't bother with the challenge fights, you only get money to send to Kiryu in the main game, but money is so easy to come by in the main game there's no point.

Very much more of the same as Hitman 2016, though with a few nicfe gameplay changes, including hiding in crowds, grass, and concealing weapons in suitcases, all of which make stealth much more workable. The new maps bring some settings I personally very much wanted to see in a Hitman game, specifically a Florida raceway and an American suburban neighborhood, and none of the others are below the quality you'd expect going off the last game. The fact that the game's released with so many maps, and more on the way, is a nice change, assuming the content released later is as significant as its pricetag suggests. Definitely worth it if you preferred its predecessor.

Addresses pretty much all the issues of the previous game while only introducing one new one. The fact that all equipment upgrades are locked behind doing challenges is annoying, but thankfully the most important upgrades - those for your tethers - only require doing two or three challenges.

Buy this game. If you enjoy any type of game at all, buy this game. Don't look up any spoilers (except maybe the solution to that stupid piano puzzle), this is a masterfully made game, and it deserves to be cherished.

An incredibly long, enjoyable game kept alive by a thriving modding communtity. Worth buying the GOTY edition for.
