CS:GO Review
Fantastic game with a steep learning curve. Excellent mechanics with a great competitive scene. Some people in the community may be quite toxic, but the majority of them are friendly and would help teach you how to play. The game features several game modes, including but not limited to (more game modes come out with operations that release every year or so): team death match, two game modes resembling the Call of Duty Search and Destroy with both casual and competitive modes (CoD took this game mode from counter strike and made their own spinoff that they named search and destroy), and a team gun game type game mode. Over all, I believe this game is more than worth it. I have played over 775 hours and I still find the game VERY fun!!!

The game also has a weapon skin marketplace in which you can acquire skins by purchasing them or unboxing them from cases. Personally if I were a new player looking for some skins, I would use the community market to purchase some instead of opening cases because then you can guarantee you get the item you desire and won't have to rely on luck. There is also a Counter Strike: Global Offensive gambling scene, which I would very much advise that you avoid if you are any of the following:
A) An obsessive personality type
B) Under the legal age to gamble (18)
C) Not willing to lose what you bet
D) Prone to anger or violence

I advised this four because obsessive personality types will tend to gamble too much, gambling under the age of 18 is illegal, if you're not willing to lose what you bet then you may get angry or depressed, and if you're prone to violence you may end up with many broken mice or other desk tools due to losing bets.

Edit:
The CSGO gambling scene is all but dead now so any CSGO betting sites you find may be a scam.
