This is that game which makes you love gaming again. KCD1 was a masterpiece, and this game improves upon it in every single aspect (extremely rare for games coming out these days). Optimization is really good and works great on my PC even with such an old CPU. Graphics look amazing, and character details are insane. The world and cinematics are really immersive. Some of my immersive bias also comes from the fact that it supports ultrawide perfectly, with every cutscene filling up my screen properly with no black bars. Even the loading screen and main menu support ultrawide. Soundtracks feel very authentic. There is no way anybody can review this game without mentioning the amazing actors Tom McKay and Luke Dale, as this game has tons and tons of dialogues and they never feel boring. When other games are looking for quick money by releasing uninspired games, Warhorse Studios seems to be going the opposite route of doing proper research, recreating the authentic 15th-century Kingdom of Bohemia, and implementing very detailed systems of combat, crafting, alchemy, reputations, character stats, etc.

Overall, the game is definitely worth buying at full price. The DLCs are amazing too, with "Legacy of Forge" adding to Henry's personal storyline and "Mysteria Ecclesiae" giving access to a huge monastery and an immersive mystery investigation story.

This review is from a non–Harry Potter fan who ended up loving the Harry Potter world!
I had never watched any of the Harry Potter movies before playing this game, nor did I manage to finish the Harry Potter novel that one of my teachers had gifted me.
Looking at the reviews and some interesting shorts on YouTube, I bought this game thinking I might abandon it just like many other games in my library, but to my surprise I got interested in the Harry Potter world right from the very start of the game, where I had to answer questions and get into one of the Houses, i also ended up watching all the movies just after completing the first few quests.

The gameplay is fun and very repetitive at the same time, and might get boring unless you encounter new enemies or unlock new spells.
The gear and equipment system is one of the most useless features in the game that should have never been there.
The world is fantastic and dynamic, with many interesting things scattered all around.
The art style is amazing — gives Red Dead Redemption vibes with its polished graphics.
The story is not that interesting; the threat doesn't seem that big and there is nothing at stake (there is actually, but it doesn't give that feeling at all).
For me the performance was fine with DLSS and Intel’s FG, with no lags, good frametime, and 100 FPS on an RTX 3060 with Medium to High settings.

Overall, the game is pretty fun when it comes to exploring new areas on the map, trying out new spells, seeing new people and enemies, but quests become boring at times and gameplay is repetitive. Still, it is definitely worth buying and immersing yourself into the Harry Potter world.

It's a pretty fun, arcadey racing game with lots of vehicles and good-looking graphics.
The sense of speed is really impressive compared to most games I've played.
Handling is pretty easy, and I also suspect the game actually manages a lot of turns on its own without me controlling.
One thing I really need to appreciate is the map interaction—it's the most innovative feature I've seen in any game, and more open-world games should have a map system like The Crew 2.
The game also has a huge grind just to get a decent vehicle, unless you throw money at Ubisoft and get the best vehicles instantly.

Please note that I bought this game for ₹50 ($0.57) on a 95% discount, which is the most fun part of the experience and the reason I'm giving it a positive review despite the grind and Ubisoft Connect occasionally preventing me from playing due to server errors.
Overall, it's a pretty fun game—but only if you get it at a huge discount.

I played this game after getting tired of the modern AAA trash and had a blast.
Even though the graphics are a bit outdated the game still holds up because of the Gunplay and AI.
Gunplay is satisfying and NPC AI is really good and challenging.
The story, atmosphere, and horror elements are set up nicely.
The game is actually quite short, but it feels longer because the encounters are tough and you might die a lot.

Just don’t forget to download this file to fix the FPS issue:

Buy the FEAR pack on sale, all the games are worth it.

The game feels like an unfinished project, abandoned due to technical difficulties and limitations. Every aspect of it is completely broken. If I had to describe the game in one word, it would be "inconsistent."
Visually, the game looks horrible in most areas due to bad textures, UV mapping issues, and excessive tiling. Yet, at times, it can look absolutely beautiful.
Some cutscenes suffer from severe flickering issues, while others appear stable and well-rendered.
The sound breaks every single time you drive a vehicle, and the directional audio and surround effects are completely broken.
Optimization is extremely poor, with frame times fluctuating wildly, causing constant lag.
Perhaps the funniest part is that the game doesn’t even launch unless you disable fullscreen optimization on the shortcut, which tells that developers didn’t even test.

Overall, the game is in a really poor state, overshadowing all the good aspects—such as the story, gunplay, and city design.

Overall, the game is fun, but it’s a downgrade from Far Cry 4. The saddest part is that the Far Cry series goes in the wrong direction from this game onwards, totally destroying the Far Cry concept.

The only two things this game does better than previous titles are the graphics and villain encounters. Everything else is just a disappointment. The world is empty and boring, animals are sidelined, and there is no crafting system at all. Skill unlocking is dumbed down to collecting magazines to get points for skills. You are given all the best weapons in the game from the very start when you buy their DLCs, which defeats the whole purpose of unlocking new weapons and the progression system.

This game was created by a billion dollar company Bethesda which heavily relies on modders for basic game features such as FOV slider, key rebinding, disabling mouse acceleration, ensuring stable performance, and fixing bug. despite all this, they still managed to somehow break all of the mods while adding so called Next Gen update which improved or fixed absolutely nothing like seriously NOTHING! they just re-released their buggy ass game while also breaking the mods that fix their bugs! It’s truly remarkable how this company operates.

So, the game just randomly decided after 3hrs of playing that i have not purchased the game and i need to activate it :)
If i click on activate with code, it gives an error.
If i try to login again, it gives an error.
and NO I'm not going to install older version Origin app by deleting all its config files and then reinstalling the whole Windows just to run this game (that's the only fix it seems)

Apart from this common bug which makes it completely unplayable... in a perfectly normal scenario when the game was in working condition, your everyday experience when you click on the PLAY button on steam would look something like this...
1. game won't start and you will be kicked by PunkBuster for using overlay software.
2. Game launches 'Game Menu' in a browser, yeah you heard that right, a menu on a web browser like flash games from 1996.
3. It then starts connecting to your Origin account and EA servers. If that fails, you can’t play the game.

I won’t even discuss the actual gameplay and campaign (which are actually good) because it’s pointless when you can’t even play the game. Despite its 95% discount, I strongly advise not to buy.

This game features some stunning graphics and immersive surround sound, which together makes you feel like you are standing on a Battlefield. Despite the complex particle effects, explosions, and buildings deforming and collapsing in real time all around you, the game remains well-optimized.
However, the gameplay does have several issues. For instance, there are times when enemies are clearly visible at a turret or near a wall corner, but they cannot be shot. Similarly, when enemies crouch, their heads, though visible, cannot be hit (for offline campaign so my internet doesn't matter). Additionally, the bullet spread for automatic weapons appears to be completely random, making snipers the only reliable choice due to their pinpoint accuracy.

Overall this game is an excellent purchase, especially considering the 92% discount at which I bought it for ₹207 ($2.5). The game offers a decent campaign and an active multiplayer mode.

The game is extremely short and can be completed within just 3hrs.
The only good part of this game is the narration, which allows you to imagine stories and visuals without actually showing you anything, much like how books use text.
Speaking of “without showing you anything,” the game essentially lacks content and serves as a walking simulator that narrates a story and builds tension along the way.

The graphical art style is highly inconsistent, which is visible from the screenshots posted on the game’s store page itself. The rocks are extremely low-poly clay art style with no details, while the trees and sky look amazing. However, the grass and plants are again low-quality 2D textures. Animations are glitchy as hell.

If you’re a fan of games like Life Is Strange, you might appreciate this game for its narration. Otherwise stay away.
I base my game recommendations on the price at which I purchased the game and not its base price. I bought this game for $1 and would only recommend it at this price.
