As the Japanese march through China and the Germans to Poland; the United Kingdom prepares for war. Italy has completed their African campaign and look to Greece. Russia feels uneasy with Adolf Hitler. Spain is thrown into civil war and the United States waits... knowing that war is looming over the horizon. The story of WWII always ends the same, Hitler gone, a red Europe, and a new superpower. So, mix it up a bit! Lead the US into war with Canada and take their land! Control the German Reich and beat back the red Russians. The world is full of "what if's" and you can answer some. Change history for better or for worse. Lead any country where you see fit and take hold of history.

Somethings I really like about this game is that Paradox wasn't afraid of making one nation more powerful then another, the United Stated is stupid powerful, and it's something I admire because they are telling it how it was. The German Reich had no chance of standing up to the United States and they knew that. I will say movement of troops was a bit tricky at first, but once you learn it's not a problem at all, becomes second nature almost. I do also admire how they handle different government types too; like you can't just go on a rampage as the US because it's a republic and a republic like the United States isn't really an aggressor. Overall I feel Paradox has handled history very well this time, it's a great game and allows for people to learn about the war that took the most lives in history.

I bought this game because I had a coupon, so it cost around 10 cents. I started playing the game because of my "completionist ideas" and thought it would be an easy 5 achievements. I was wrong-ish. The game was simple and fun at first, but then after 30 points are earned things get a bit challenging. The bar starts messing wtih your eyes and timing becomes a thing. But, there is a sweet spot, but only when the right sides of the sqaure are lit, then you will have to really angle it. It's idea is as simple as pong but a lot more fun. There are some fire tracks to listen to as you play. Overall, this game is just "simple fun" with some old school machanics.
