The difficulty of this game is a lot harder compared to the first game, especially when you play hard mode and start to get to the harder levels, but once you get used to enemy placements and the feel of the weapons it gets a lot more fun. This game is meant to be replayed a lot with the additions of a grade after every level done, and one of the achievements requiring you to get A+ on all the levels on normal mode. After some experience with the different levels, you will start blazing through levels with ease without trying much.

The real magic comes from the workshop where people are able to create their own levels and campaigns, huge step up for the first game, and it is surprisingly easy to use. There's a lot of stuff you can do in this game both in story mode, the level editor, and the workshop content.

A lot of people give this game crap because of the somewhat confusing narrative, the difficulty compared to the first game, unfair enemy placement in some cases, as well as not being able to play as jacket again :( this game has a lot more polish and content compared to the first, and in my opinion, is better than the first game.

(also 100% 'ing the game is actually not that bad despite how hard it can be)
