Incredibly detailed lore, great graphics and a wide variety of classes and play styles. Additional classes, areas and challenges are available in the regularly released DLCs.

Housing decoration, costume customization, crafting, and plenty of collectibles without having to resort to loot boxes, thanks to the regular events.

A subscription is not necessary but do have a perks - can play DLCs as they are released (access goes away when your sub lapses), double housing decoration slots, bag space and an infinite convenient crafting bag.

If you want to farm, craft and grind, you can. If you want pure story, you have hundreds of hours worth to explore. PVP, duals, raids, small group dungeons, guilds, trading - there’s something for most people’s tastes. And mods (via Minion) make the game even better.

The bad: the EU servers are notoriously unstable, and both the initial download and the regular updates are huge. World chat can be very toxic and filled with spammers.

But these feel small compared to the rich game world and enjoyable gameplay - there is a reason it's my most played game.
