From my understanding, with steam demos the publisher can either setup a whole separate page for the demo, allowing reviews, or they can choose not to have a separate page, like how demos used to behave. With that in mind, I don't know if I respect RGG/SEGA for actually allowing user reviews of this demo, or if I think they're even more stupid then they already are, because I think most everyone could see how this would go

In case you are somehow not aware, RGG hired the actor Teriyuki Kagawa (believe that's how his name's spelled), who has had committed (at least) two acts of sexual assault against women in the past, offering minimal to no apologies. Then, when RGG fans discover this and become rightfully angry and upset, RGG chooses at best to ignore fans pleas and at worst outright silence them. Not only that now, but I've heard similarly concerning things about the dub voice actor for Mine, though I'm not as familiar with that as I am Kagawa. Combine these actions/events with other bad choices RGG have made recently (mainly the pointless re-releases of 0, K1, and K2), and it feels like RGG has really lost touch with their fans, trying to destroy all goodwill they've built over the years.

I don't care much to talk about the demo itself, I'm sure the game will be fine cause I've enjoyed all of RGG's games I've played, even the iffy ones like the Ishin Remake and Pirate Yakuza (which this game feels most akin to), and the demo wasn't terrible or nothing. But I feel wildly uncomfortable supporting this studio given their recent change of heart. I don't plan on giving them any more of my money for the foreseeable future unless RGG properly remedy everything, which I highly doubt they'll do given their reaction to everything.
