Amazing game!
Immediately rebind "Drop Weapon" to something far away instead of "G". You will thank me.

What started out as a game to relive the glory days of AG racing, including some devs who apparently worked on the WipEout series is now but a dormant husk with no support whatsoever. I backed this when it was on kickstarter? Indiegogo? Anyways, the point is the team failed to live up to any expectation. The best part of the game is the fact they got the Designers Republic to come back and do their design work. If you want a few hours of enjoyment then sure, but it is not worth $45 CAD (convert to your own currency) for the amount of content you will get out of it.

You will repeat a lot of the tracks. You will customize your "highly customizable" ship with performance upgrades and a team livery for the most part. It feels far too stiff compared to what it's trying to live up to. I enjoyed this game more when it was in early development and focused on precision racing and perfecting your lines. It just lacks all the feel, style and punch of the games it's trying so hard to imitate. Especially visually, where it mostly feels like it's the default Unreal look.

Save yourself the time and money. Get Ballistic NG or play the actual series it's based on.

I'm not really a big RPG person, but this game was very fun and had my attention from start to finish (for the first run). It was very easy to pick up, easy to learn about the mechanics, I didn't need much help for anything, really. The UX is very intuitive and the straight forward nature of the UI helps immensely by not getting you bogged down in sub menus that take away from the experience. There's definitely a lot more to be seen here beyond the first playthrough and I'm excited to do different builds. The music is great, the art is great, the pacing is great, what more can I really say? Hell, I needed to piss 4 hours ago but I kept playing because it was so fun and engaging. Cheers to the dev!

It has been a long time since I have played an arcade racer that has grabbed me and held me down in pure bliss and satisfaction. The stunning visuals and soundtrack mixed smoothly with the responsive and tight controls make for a visceral gameplay experience unlike any other available on the market as of right now. Sure, it's in Early Access, but there are many times where I have forgotten that entirely due to its polish and attention to detail.

Backing everything up is a stream of user created content and an in depth level editor at the disposal of all those who take the time to learn it.

The only downside is the performance drops in very heavy scenes even with a high-end machine. However, it is early access and performance improvements are planned for the future.

10/10 got perma banned from a server for being able to shoot a pistol faster than the admins
