It's still a lot of fun to play, the performance is good and once you get the hang of all the tools, your creativity can be endless!

Update after 72 hours more:
The performance is sick, gives me around 80 fps in 4k all ultra with FSR3, roughly 60 (+/-5) without it.
Never crashed once, graphics settings change quickly and realiably. This is how a proper port is done! Hardware is below.

The slow pace of the introduction sadly wasn't balanced out by an exciting story. It's definitely not bad, but it is quite monotonous story-wise. Don't get me wrong, it's still a great game with a good story, but the first one was better. Nevertheless, it's great to have Aloy back. Don't believe all the anti-woke haters, they're just mad women exist.
The ending teases a third installment and I'm all here for it
The gameplay is full of collectibles, plenty of weapons and skills and EP to get and.. if you're into that, that's cool, if not, just ignore it.

OLD REVIEW
I'll keep it short:

This game improves on every aspect of Zero Dawn, which in and of itself is an amazing game already.
In times where game launches are usually riddled with bugs and performance issues, this game runs quite well out of the box (4K on ultra with FSR ~60/70 fps on 5700x/6800XT) and I haven't seen any bugs yet. And it'll only improve going forward!
It looks VERY impressive, especially in HDR. The detail density, even outside of foliage, has been cranked to the max.
Gameplay improved a lot, there are plenty of new ways to go around, weapons to use, skills to learn.

The only downside is the introduction, which is too long. I'm 6 hours in and I barely reached the edge of the Forbidden West. Let me explore already.

It's great to have Aloy back <3

There are a lot of great things to be said about this game, but I'll keep it short:

A great SP adventure game with influences from the greatest of the genre. Haven't enjoyed a game this much in quite a while.

Rock Pack contains Free Bird. 10/10.

Jokes aside, it's an amazing game that's a boatload of fun, keeps you fit and is a great party game with friends.

I'll keep it short:

Do you like Portal and games like the Stanley Parable?
Do you like your brain to hurt?
A huge, fleshed out story is not *that* important?

Go buy this game, it's amazing!

Quick review:

- Gaming works flawlessly and without performance loss (3700x/1080ti/48GB)
- Visuals are the same quality as your headset.
- Changing screensize, -distance, curvature etc. works instantly and fluidly
- Multimonitor windows are sadly connected to each other
- Audio is sometimes a bit buggy (echoing), but a bit of clicking around usually fixes it

It's as good as you think. Go buy it!
