Hey man, seeing as my tagline is literally "I love boring space games" it does look somewhat ideal for me. Had a quick peek at some gameplay and it has a similar customisation system to endless space.
Will probably get it at some point, but for now I have plenty to be getting through with Borderlands 2!

Yo Sam, if you like Endless Space and futuristic space 4x strategy games in general, particularly when combined with a good battle system and ship customisation then you should give the Sword of the Stars series a spin!
