It's rare I encounter a game that is this laser-focused to things I like:

-Hard hitting sci fi story
-Interesting, impactful choices
-Economic Survival mechanics

It's quietly emerged as a strong contender for my GOTY 2025. I'm not sure where they can go from here but it's hard not to want more.

I first wasn't sure about Metal Gear Solid Phantom Pain, it takes awhile to really get through the introductory stuff but once you make it deeper into the story, things get interesting. Still, the company aparently took Hideo off the project at a certain point and it seems aparently around the end when there are more replayable chapters at different points of time or higher difficulty challenges for additional story & rewards - filler stuff.
