This game is so broken that the bugs make it better. It's like the Sharknado of videogames and I love it for that.

it's a fun game... when playable
the game is overrun with bots to the point that the game is unplayable, ~75% of players are bots that will use aimbot to one shot the players from across the map before vote-kicking everyone form the game. I can't even stay in a match let alone stay alive in game for longer than a minute.

the devs actually listen to the fans

I saw they added this game to steam and were advertising that they actually added a PVE after lying to us about the content. So I downloaded it, payed the $15, and gave it a shot... only to find out it's the same as the archive missions from OW1 and beat it in under an hour... now apparently I'll have to wait until next season when I'll have to pay more money for more of the same BS that was free in OW1?

Screw this, don't give these people your money. It's a scam and a slap to the face of all of the loyal fans who loved OW1 and stuck with it through the three year content drought.

This is a game I beta tested awhile back and I can say it's only gotten better over time, think Rainbow Six or CSGO gameplay with more strategy and procedurally generated maps. It's an awesome game that defiantly deserves more love.

I'm not saying I'm against the anti-cheat, I just think you should have implemented ADA accessibility and other features prior to the security update. It's not a bad decision, I see why the devs would want to do this, but I think it needed some more thinking through first.

On another note my vr setup is super jank and I kind of was relying on some mods to run this game... so I'm kinda getting screwed over by this. That being said, I will find a way to make this game work and that means that hackers will find a way to get past EAC.

EDIT: mods work, EAC is protecting no one and is easy to bypass

EDIT 2: Age verification? again, I'm not against what you are doing, just the absolute ♥♥♥♥ way you've implemented it. First of all locking it behind a pay wall and by proxy locking what was allready free content behind a pay wall is bs. And not just any pay wall, one that tries to rope you into a subscription. If you needed money for the verification services I would have much prefered an option for a one time payment instead of signing up for a subscription, verifying, then canceling that subscription so i don't get charged more.

And what about the service we are paying for, persona, the same company roblox used that did nothing to protect kids resulting in a huge pedo problem and more kids ending up in 18+ spaces than before. I'm starting to think this and EAC were just to protect vrchat legally more than they are to protect the safty of their users.

EDIT 3: Avatar store? ok this one I am not against how you did it, I'm against it all together. You want to charge people for avatars that they can't even customize? that's what free avatars and demo avatars were for. And you have a whole store menu, would have been nice if you let people upload free avatars to there to make them more searchable but ya did it all for the money.

Why tf would I by an avatar in game when I could buy one on another platform for the same price get way more out of it AND actually get to own the product? Convenience? Not really because the creator companion and packages people already make have made unity a cake walk. Whats next charging us multiple times for consumable cosmetics?
