I wanted to hate this game because they pulled everyone from D2 for it. Unfortunately i Can't because this game slaps and i am obsessed.

What can be said about this game that hasn't already.... Pretty much the perfect dark souls formula. Stop reading this and go play this game!

An absolute hidden gem i hope more people play. Hilarious and over the top but also grounded where it matters. Combat feels tight and the ability to immediately replay a boss again and again (Costs easily farmable currency) to have a chance to earn more of its loot pool is something i wish every game had.

So far so good. Does the good stuff better and adds more. Satisfying combat and builds. The anime dark souls is back and man is time travel and changing the future always a cool mechanic no matter the game!

If you play souls like games, play this game on its hardest difficulty for the souls like challenge thrill. Good puzzles. Perfect amount of handholding (next to none). Combat is smooth, not a huge variety in enemies but they eventually hit hard enough that the dance of combat is still fun as the game goes on.

Very cozy vibes and pretty dang addicting.
The game play loop is satisfying.
Definitely recommend.

Some issues for the dev (that they prolly already know about?)-
(All of these come with the caveat that the main gameplay loop is clearly established enough for this vibey little Indie game that I am happily giving it a Thumbs Up, regardless of the issues that exist on the day 1 release build of the game.)

-The mech glitches into the ground sometimes when too close to zombies.

-Sometimes just unable to leave the mech for seemingly no reason.

-This one might be my own feel, but the mech flames feel like there is a dead zone in between the two flames where enemies are not being hit. I could be wrong about this, and it might just be the fact that the flames do not intersect at all that is throwing me off. If that is the case, maybe consider "widening" the flame graphics just towards the middle of the mech so that it is obvious where the flames do and do NOT touch.
-Also in this same category, the flames shoot out about twice as far as their hitbox. Meaning that i think that I am hitting zombies that I am not close to hitting. I assume that when you level range up that is fixed, but maybe consider giving the flames a varied graphical distance based on the range stat so it is clear where the player should actually be hitting.

-Placing down multiple "blueprints" of an item, leaving that screen, then going back and placing a new blueprint, will charge you for ALL the previously placed blueprints without actually placing ALL of them. For example, I placed a ton of torch blueprints (with more than enough money to afford them all), then could not figure out how to actually "submit" all those blueprints to be actually purchased and placed, so I exited that screen. The cost for ALL those unplaced "blueprint" torches was still on my screen. I went back to the store, selected torch again, placed it and immediately bought it, and it only placed that SINGLE torch while charging me for every single torch blueprint I had previously placed.

-Unable to move some previously placed items such as Turrets and UU Lamps even though they have the button option to be moved.

-I really like the graphical style and movement control style, but maybe consider giving an option for the view to be locked to a direction as sometimes controlling the character as the view flips this way and that is difficult. (Maybe only when in the mech, the view is locked towards the direction the mech faces, and maybe you slow the mech spin around so that it does not make people sick if you take that route? Just a thought.. Controlling where the mech was aiming got quite tricky sometimes..)

Once again, OVERALL i really vibe with this game. I unironically saw a tiktok about it (maybe from a dev) and thought, "Yeah, that looks neat." and impulse bought it same day. Definitely not wasted money.

If the dev reads this i hope you understand the only reason I am adding all the issues I am having, is because I am enjoying the game so far and hope these can help you!

Fantastic multiplayer. Needs some early game tweaks in terms of balancing and map design but definitely the best modern combat BF since BF4. 8/10.

The campaign is meh at best. Some pretty cool ideas and set pieces but overall, felt more like being in a sandbox where the dev wasn't sure how to fill space so they just dropped some tanks here and soldiers there. I miss bf3/4 campaign. They felt detailed and inspired and everything in the mission, regardless if it was necessarily believable, it still felt grounded and possible in the setting. Not so much in this game. Even with the old cod campaigns (cod 4, mw2, mw3), you could tell they were made by a team that cared. I hate to say it but this games campaign really just felt like they made a trailer for the campaign and then they showed that trailer to the devs and said, "okay now make this a campaign." And the ending was CLEARLY setting up a sequel. I was genuinely surprised when the credits rolled because of how clearly they were setting up for another mission.

Captures the danger of Arrakis perfectly. I cant stop playing. Finally a game that lets me build the base I want with (basically limitless) building limits within an area. Sometimes wish it was easier to get the requisite resources as a solo. The Solo experience is fun, and definitely viable, but it is slow AF.

INCREDIBLE experience. This is a must play for everyone!
Hands down one of the best games I've ever played, and the single best coop experience EVER.
10/10 music.
11/10 writing.
10/10 world design.
10/10 Boss Design.
This game is actually perfect and I hope that everyone gets a chance to play it, because it will give you a new perspective on life.

Simply fantastic.

Played this game through the friends pass, so technically "for free".
