Surprisingly fun once you get into it. I'd recommend playing with friends. You should enjoy optimizing and trying to improve your gameplay and this will give the classy souls-feel for finally beating a boss, but for the whole gameplay loop

I prefer this game to Overwatch 2

This game has no business being this good. I am kind of shocked. Wow.

Unfortunately, CA has once again turned a bright future into a grim one with bad practice. Fix your game, make sure it lives up to what it could be and stop treating customers like trash. I want this to be the truly exceptional game it could be.

The game is great. Truly. What an experience.
Obviously, FromSoftware makes games for a target audience, filled with challenges, cryptic storytelling and no real guidance. I guess, you'll know beforehand wether you'll like this game or not.
However, there are a lot of reports of technical problems that FromSoftware already stated they'll adress. I personally haven't experienced any of these besides some very rare frame drops, which I guess occur when new areas are loaded? I don't run this on a high rig, but on max settings anyway. So I hope they'll fix these problems a lot of people are having asap, so more people can enjoy this masterpiece.

Game gets a 9.5/10 for me, so far.

This is a difficult recommend ... the game truly is good. I enjoyed most of my time with it. However, when looking as objectively as possible ... does it deserve a steam score of +90%? No. I guess this is one of the times, where a 1-10 rating system would give a more true representation of the game's overall quality.
It runs very well on my system. It has genuine scares and a decent atmosphere. Going first person was the right choice here. Even tho being the world's slowest runner feels a little bit weird. Either that or the FOV. Puzzles are fine. Enemies lack variety. The molded get old fast and the mosquitos are ... just kind of annoying. The boss fights are a highlight (most of them. The last boss, just like the last part of the game in general drops the ball). Overall, if you enjoy kind-of-horror-shooters, you might give this a try. But don't get this for the shooting. I'd recommend buying on sale
