First off the game is still in alpha and has buggs. This is a bit frustrating but and this in my opinion is a big but. The developer has put recent bug fixes and in progress bugs on the home screen when you launch as apposed to another location like on their website and is actually fixing issues which is really nice.

Overall I am enjoying the game. I think that the time lines are a bit ambiguous at times as in you dont know if you are going to fail a mission. Some feed back about that might be nice but that could be a me thing.

Such a nice calm game. Even when everything is on fire its still so nice and calm and I havent seen any bugs yet which is great! love the music and the artwork. Well worth all of the money!

Its just AWESOME. Lost of development fun!

First off I am playing this in the Index.
Second this is my first Half-Life game.
Third Its AMAZING! And I mean as a game! not with the pretext of "VR game" just game. I forgot where I was for the last hour as I played. And I only stopped because I forgot to charge my controllers.......

As I have only played for an hour I'll try and update as I go :) but so far here is what I got.

I choose the teleporting method to move around the world. I had an issue with getting a little motion sick with my setup so I chose that method as a friend who also played the game told me that he tried the motion controls and he had some issues with them. We didn't talk past that as I didn't want to hear any spoilers.

The feed back rumble for hitting stuff is great. Sometimes in the heat of the moment it can be difficult to do stuff correctly but I think that will come with practice. The navigation in the world is pretty good and the level design interesting to say the least.

Speaking of world. HOLY CRAP is it B-E-A-U-T-F-U-L! Genuinely hats of the the gals and guys at Valve the world is perfect and it does feel lived in. And the sound design is just as good if not better. It really helps sell the world.

TLDR: Get the game if you have a VR headset... even if you don't like jumpy/scarry games like I don't :D
