this game is how i discovered i had autism

i really, really, really want to give this the thumbs up, but i can't at this moment.

taking into consideration others gameplay, while my own has been relatively smooth in comparison with minimal optimization, lower-end PC's are absolutely having the worst time trying to run this game. in its current state, it is unoptimized, the blood and gore feels like a downgrade from the demo, not to mention the fact that the bruising and broken bones mechanics are seemingly removed, as well as the skull-caving mechanics from the demo are too.

wait until they optimize it, and until then, play the demo.

since some lobotomites want to report 'spam reviews' (aka reviews that aren't long because some of us like to keep things short and sweet) i'm making this longer now!

i have 65.5 hours in the playtest. the freedom of choice as to what i want to fight? brilliant! the best thing in the world! but the devs went and removed that. the demo isn't all negatives, but it damn near gets close. weapons don't have the same weight to them, parrying (which was actually possible in the playtest- albeit a bit difficult, yet rewarding when learned), is 10x more difficult, the movement feels way worse than what it did in the playtest. in that same breath, blunt weapons feel way better and one of the only things i've enjoyed so far is caving willie's skull in with a stool.

anyway, continue leaving your negative reviews, or leave your positive ones. just don't write 'game bad' and post. or do, lol. i don't care.

played for about 4 hours, haven't had any crashes as reported in other reviews. some visual lighting bugs but other than that nothing major, running on a 4070 super so take what i say with a grain of salt lol, but i'd still wait for some more patches/hotfixes to roll out the next few weeks and days if you really aren't sure yet.

would be better if the CSA didn't (usually) ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ the union every round
