Game dev cycle consists of TFP hitting a fat one and adding whatever stupid ♥♥♥♥ they feel like, reworking core game mechanics (usually for the worst), removing survival elements and mechanics, and five thousand minor tweaks to POIs, blocks, and AI pathing so that turbonerds can't cheese the smart-yet-dumb AI as hard as before.

The latest update is genuinely insane, instead of finding specialized gear for surviving the conditions of the other biomes like the nuclear wasteland, you instead just complete a to-do-list of tasks and drink a smoothie you crushed out of rocks and mushrooms. What? At least these "features" can be turned off.

Don't be fooled by the v2.0 update stuff, it's absolutely still EA.
