概括：中世纪拟真版《老滚5》加《巫师3》

高度沉浸感的场景设计
作为最被广泛采用的游戏题材欧洲中世纪，《天国拯救2》的场景搭建和水平设计上能让玩家仿佛真的穿越到了欧洲中世纪体验了一场生动的旅行。能感觉到制作团队在文化和历史方面投入了大量心血，应该说是在非常执着地再扣细节了。
建筑设计每个村庄里的民用房屋基本都是采用了石材作为底层，木材作为上层的结构，再看看第一章的特罗斯基城堡则是结合了木质楼梯和石材墙壁的设计，城墙上设置的射击口可以让玩家探出身体查看外部是否有敌人。尽管有些玩家在首次进入城堡时可能会迷路，但在城堡内转悠几圈后，便能清晰地感受到这个建筑的区域划分：城堡外围是负责搬运货物和采石的平民与囚犯，内部则是领主和贵族的生活、办公和休息区域，还有随处可见的士兵正在监督站岗警戒巡逻或者训练，这些细节都会在潜意识里感受到中世纪建筑的合理性。
贴图设计在路上仔细观察就会发现游戏会根据每个地方的人源真实还原了马车经过的车辙印、路人的脚印、城镇中随处可见的粪便和被踩扁的杂草，墙面上的做旧细节也处理得很到位，包括每块石头的贴图、窗户下的水渍、火把和烟囱燃烧后留下的焦黑污垢、二楼厕所造成的污渍，以及墙上生长的杂草和攻城器械造成的裂缝和弹坑，无疑都展现了游戏中丰富的人文生活氛围。
