Resident Evil Requiem is easily the best Resident Evil story we’ve had in a very long time.

What really makes it stand out is how well it balances its characters and gameplay styles. Playing as Grace Ashcroft was a highlight for me—she’s quickly become one of my favourite characters in the series. Her sections, especially in first person, genuinely feel like classic survival horror again. There are moments in this game that are properly disturbing and tense… I’m not even exaggerating when I say I jumped out of my seat more than once.

Then you switch over to Leon Kennedy, and the whole vibe flips—in the best way possible. You feel like an absolute badass. The action sequences are brilliant, packed with those iconic, slightly cheesy one-liners that just belong in Resident Evil at this point. It’s that perfect mix of horror and action that the series has always tried to balance.

The pacing is great too. It doesn’t overstay its welcome, and the story length feels just right—never dragging, always keeping you engaged.

I’m already excited for whatever DLC comes next. If they build on this, the future of the series is looking very strong.

I'll be honest - I'm part of the problem. I buy Madden pretty much every year (or every other year), fully aware that it barely ever changes. And usually? I still get some enjoyment out of it. It's always been a decent game to just jump into for a few chilled games of football, especially in Franchise or Superstar mode.

But Madden 26 has genuinely pushed that patience to its limit.

The biggest issue is stability. The game CONSTANTLY freezes, and the EA servers are an absolute mess. Disconnects happen way too often, to the point where finishing a full game in Superstar mode fells like a coin toss. There's nothing worse than investing time into a match or your career, only for it to crash or boot you out for no reason.

And then there's multiplayer... which could be fun, but just isn't. It's completely overrun with microtransactions. If you dare go online, you're almost guaranteed to come up against someone with a ridiculously stacked team that you simply can't compete with unless you're willing to spend extra money. It feels heavily pay-to-win, which just kills any motivation to even try.

What's frustrating is that I want to enjoy this game. The core idea is still there, and I've always liked the career modes. But between the technical issues and the monetisation, it's just not worth the hassle this time around.

Easily one of the worst Maddens in recent years - and that's saying something.

Resident Evil 7: Biohazard was a great experience for me. The shift to first-person was a bold move, but it really works and makes the game feel intense and fresh while still feeling like Resident Evil. It’s genuinely creepy, with excellent pacing and plenty of jump scares and unsettling moments that keep you on edge throughout.

I also liked the multiple endings. Doing a couple of playthroughs to see different outcomes was a nice change for the series, and it adds some replay value. The DLC is fun too and adds some cool extra content.

The only real downside is the length. The main story is quite short and doesn’t take long to finish, which might leave you wanting more.

Overall, though, it’s a fantastic horror experience and a great evolution for the franchise.

I’ve never played a Silent Hill game before, but I’ve always been intrigued by the series. After finally diving into the remake, I can honestly say it’s absolutely worth playing.

The atmosphere is incredible from start to finish. The game keeps a constant sense of dread hanging over you, and the sound design alone is enough to keep you on edge. Every creak, distant scream, and strange noise builds the tension beautifully.

What surprised me most, though, was the story. It’s emotional, heavy, and delivered with fantastic performances from the actors. Even as someone completely new to the series, I felt fully invested in James’ journey.
