I really like the puzzles and most of the characters are fine at their worst, with a notable peak in Cait and a notable valley in whats-her-name (so unenjoyable I'm actually blanking on her name). That said, it's not really anything groundbreaking, I thought this was gonna be some really crazy technology and it's basically just MGRR's sword cutting mixed with gmod prop spawning. Neat, but get it on sale tbh, we're not getting anything The Unfinished Swan didn't feel like nearly, what, 12, 13 years ago maybe, back on the PS3

I mean it's crashed twice on me so far, but at the same time, I'm not entirely shocked it has? The first time was absolutely my fault, I'll take full responsibility for exiting a challenge while grabbing a Nightmare with Flowmotion, and for the second, every game gets one free crash.

Not really a sokoban guy, but I'm able to see this is a pretty good game. I was kinda hoping there'd be combat, but oh well, it is what it is. Not the game for me, but I don't dislike it.

The actual game here is great, but the optimization, like last time, is comedically and inexplicably rough. How does a game that looks like this make my Steam Deck's GPU hit 90 degrees in the main menu?! And nowhere else?! What's happening here?!

It's actually not just Doom 1 & 2, so realistically I'd have called it Classic Doom Collection. It's a really good value, but maybe grab GZDoom to use with this

It's Zelda, specifically Zelda 1, but with a dodge and a gun. Simply put, if you like 2D Zelda, this is the next step up from that. Less simply put, if 2D Zelda is to Mega Man classic, what this is to Mega Man X.

Why are you looking at reviews for a game that came out nearly 20 years ago? Seriously, this game is almost as old as I am. I mean, unless you're looking for funnies, in which case, carry on.

ok, first off, I actually have over 100 hours in this game, they just aren't on the steam release. second off, don't play this on a laptop unless it can run some hefty stuff. third off, if you like Xenoblade Chronicles, you'll probably like the New Genesis world design more than the base game. If you liked PSO1, then you'll like the base game more than New Genesis. Most people are upset that you have to play about an hour and a half (if you're good, if not, then it might be longer depending on your class, skill level, and possibly luck) of New Genesis to play the base game. Honestly, both are pretty fun if you're just starting out with the series, so take the more recent reviews with a grain of salt. Feel free to tell me I'm wrong in the comments, though, I guess. Lord knows people get angry over this
