They can never make me hate you dream drop distance

The optimization is GARBAGE.
First room of the final world, an unavoidable enemy spawn? Frame drops.
Game still runs but it just shouldn't be acceptable.
I'll stick to the 3DS version til fixes are made. These games do not deserve this shoddy presentation.

Dream Drop Distance is actually the gayest Kingdom Hearts game oh my god somebody help them out of the closet on god

Dream eaters are super cute and fun and this game makes me want to actually play birth by sleep and not just only ever play kingdom hearts 2 on hit steam release Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 + 2.5 Final Mix.
Honestly this is kind of worth it for Dream Drop Distance alone, maybe not at full price bc it's an HD port of a 3DS game from 2012 but you know.

My biggest issue is the seemingly random lag spikes when a lot of things are on screen, is it an issue that's just holdover from the 3DS original that they didn't want to have to tend to when dealing with ports to significantly more powerful systems? Or maybe I'm just salty bc I love the balloon popping minigame and it very consistently happens there.

0.2 is really not worth any additional value to the price, which I'm sure has been talked to death before, and a movie is a movie so that's not adding any favors. 0.2 took me less than 3 hours to beat and yeah, it was a fun experience I'll say that, but even from a Kingdom Hearts lore nerd standpoint it's not really worth playing outside of someone being a completionist and wanting every achievement in this "collection" lol

So yeah, DDD is great, buy this for that alone, but wait for it to be on sale, since resale of 3DS games will definitely run you far more than Squeenix would ever price this thang LMAO
