I love Civ, always have. They've taken bold steps with VII to add to the tapestry of games - Namely the idea of "layering history" to make stories. It's a great concept, but in doing so they've taken away the ability to play through one nation's rise from ancient times to the modern. You're now a leader who heads several civilizations over the ages. It feels disjointed and you lose the sense of pride in your nation with each age. Mechanically it's more dynamic, but thematically it falls flat for me.

But most importantly. Why in the world would you get rid of the "One.. More.. Turn..." button?!

Dynamic gameplay with delightfully imbalanced characters. It doesn't feel restricted and over-engineered like its competitor; the game is fun and offers unique play with characters you love and recognize. It's difficult to get skins without spending money, but the art style is beautiful enough that you don't NEED the skins.

Needs more silly sprays. I miss my Punch Kid

Primarily playing multiplayer first. This is the closest thing to playing D&D in a group you can get without actually sitting around a table to play. Incredible game.

There's little else you can do in the world for 20 bucks that's as fun as this game.
