Early Access Review
EDIT: The Developers have addressed this review and have changed the music tracks 15min after addressing the concern. Do I believe they didn't review the music given to them by an outsourced party? Not really but I will commend them for addressing it so fast.

The game is incredibly addicting, has a very good amount of content for being EA and if the devs are this engaged with the community, I look very much forward playing this game for the year to come and see where it goes.



Original Review: Game is pretty fun and has good content for the price and being EA...

Sadly I cannot recommend this game as they have blatantly copied music from other games and just changed a few notes; so far I know they have copied the track Medieval from Old School RuneScape and from TLOZ.

Yet, this game being Chinese it will be hard for anything to change about it.

Hi,

We sincerely apologize for not thoroughly reviewing the music outsourcing process, which resulted in the music supplier using some AI generated materials. We extend our apologies to all players and the original music creators. We have now removed the music.

We will adjust other music in the future and avoid using controversial materials. Thank you for bringing this to our attention, hope you have a nice day with Alchemy Factory.

The content literally is the music? The music is a part of it... And the devs saying, "We'll amend this for OTHER music" is a bit.... meh.... "We'll just leave the AI plaigarised music in, but don't worry...."

The developers were quick to respond and mend this issue. So not only do we get baller gameplay, we also have attentive devs. I'm stoked on this game, man.

Honestly for the current negative reviews to be "Oh copied music!" and "Money in inventory feels bad!" it shows that the core of the game is very solid.

Good callout since I hope this game gets a bomb soundtrack as they develop it further, this has the potential of being another Satisfactory phenomenon if the developers do this right.

My girlfriend who plays games more like stardew valley, houseflipper, and supermarket simulator has played this and enjoyed it, even though she doesn't play factory games and it technically being her first one. It's really bridged a gap in genres.

Completely reasonable to call this out, anyone thinking this is ok - or that it does not deserve harsh pushback is baffling to me. To be clear, this wasn't just AI, it was AI clearly poorly plagiarising another well known work.

Glad to see the dev has responded though and hopefully it was a one off.

To leave a negative review for that seems a bit harsh, surely it's the gameplay and content that matters most, By all means comment on it if you feel that strongly about it, but a negative review??
