My favorite BR finally on steam

Game is buggy with really expensive cosmetics, but it's balanced (decently) well and lots of fun. Most comparable game is overwatch, and in my experience ranked overwatch is better than ranked paladins, but casual paladins is better than casual overwatch.

I would recommend this game if you know what you are getting into. The game is in early access right now, and it shows. There are a lot of your standard EA issues such as crashes, long loads, and performance drops, but the devs have already fixed most of the major bugs I have run across and it has only been in EA for two days.

The more important thing to know that will probably take a while to get to a good state is some of the in-game mechanics, such as the economy and experience. Currently the game is much harder than warband due to how hard it is to get a steady supply of money. Wages are paid daily instead of weekly so troop upkeep is much more expensive than it was earlier, so you have to really plan ahead and go for caravans as soon as possible.
There are other issues such as really low XP gain, faction imbalances, lord constantly being taken prisoner by looters, etc. The base game is really good and mods have already fixed a few of these issues but it will take a bit before I can recommend this game to everyone. Until then, if you were a warband player and are ready for a truly early access experience then get this game.

Good game, (generally) well balanced weapons, extremely high skill ceiling, and it's almost entirely free!

Got two hats and three weapon skins in an hour. For the $1 + other games that I got this for on humblebundle, I wouls say that's a pretty good deal.

Overall, I really enjoyed BD, more so than any other far cry game I have played. Naturally, since it is just a standalone DLC, it is fairly short, and only took me 8 hours to beat. My biggest complaint is the difficulty of this game, it's even easier than FC3. I didn't die a single time on the hardest difficulty, and the enemies really didn't pose a threat, at all.

I have always loved this game, it's a pretty simple game that isn't very challenging, but I love it.
Pros:
•Wont matter for a lot of people, butvery little mouse input needed, great for playing on the bus, or somewhere where I don't have an external mouse with my laptop
•Graphics still hold decently well, the animations are a bit laughable, but the graphics don't hurt my eyes.
•Very little story. While the game does have a story, it doesn't push you into doing it at all, so your free to do whatever you want. Considdered a pro, because a lot of simular games like this force you to do the main storyline, and limit the open-world.
Cons:
•Some of the minigames can get a bit reppetitive. Dancing is very important in the game, but is not very fun, and I hate sneaking into towns. The most common ones like sword-fighting or ship battles stay fun.
•Not very difficult. Even on swashbucking difficulty (the hardest one) the only thing I have trouble with is a few sword fights, but if you use the cutlass and taunt often, they aren't a problem.

Overall, this game deffinetly is not for everyone. I have always loved this style of game, so it's easy for me to love this game. The game isn't very expensive, especially on sale, so I would whole-heartedly recomend picking it up if it looks even slightly appealing to you.
